Excellent location on Lake Blackshear, property is on main body of the lake with perfect sunsets and recreational opportunities for the whole family. Conveniently located 2.5 hours south of Atlanta, 3BR/2BA log cabin property features some of the best big water sunsets on Lake Blackshear.

A shaded porch wraps around half the home with wood burning fireplace, dock with large sun deck and covered area, outdoor fire pit by the water and private boat ramp...bring all your water/lake toys!!!

With our private boat ramp you can launch your boat or PWC from the property, leave it safely in the water all week and conveniently park your trailer out of the way and out your view. Lake Blackshear offers more than 20 miles of cruising as well as excellent spots for the best ski and wakeboard runs.

After a full day of sun and fun, dine comfortably on the porch while the sun dips behind the pines to deliver the best sunsets in Georgia. Then enjoy the fire pit by the lake, visiting with friends and family while making s’mores over the fire.

Georgia Veterans Park & Golf Course within 10 minute drive. On-lake dining at two restaurants are a quick 10 minute boat ride away. Several nearby dining options including seafood, steak and BBQ are within a 10 minute or less drive by car. Grocery options nearby also.

The interior of the home offers panoramic views from all of the living areas plus upstairs. With a large, open living/dining/kitchen area, you can gather a crowd without feeling cramped.

Bedrooms: Upstairs: Master with King + twin for young families or those with small children. Downstairs: One Bedroom with queen bed. “Bunk Room” with 2 double beds and 1 twin (up). Beds sleep 10. Full baths upstairs and down.

The living room offers comfortable furnishings, stereo, a wood burning fire place and big screen TV with blue-ray DVD player. “Bunk Room” has TV/DVD/Cable. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the main floor. All appliances are modern and dependable with a full kitchen, dishwasher and microwave.

Other amenities include: Hardwoods in main living area, wood floors in master, cable + wireless internet. Towels, linens, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher detergent are provided and included in the rental fees.

Home is Handicap accessible (not ADA) including ramp to entry, downstairs bath and wide doorways. This is a family vacation home built and maintained by one family since 1996.

Did a bit of cooking this time in Cordele and found the kitchen very well stocked. The most enjoyable part of staying at this house is having coffee in the morning on the dock out in the lake. Unfortunately, the record breaking cold windy weather made it impossible to be outside for any length of time.
