This West Lake Okoboji lakefront rental allows you to enjoy the best of lake living with the family. Dedicated 62` lakeshore, private dock and 5,000lb hoist...live the dream this summer! Unbeatable location near Arnolds Park.

This charming lakefront cottage is being offered for the first time in 2024! This special retreat was originally built as a three bedroom, one bathroom cottage in the 1930’s. An addition was completed in 1994 with a large kitchen and big West Lake Okoboji views from the spacious great room and master bedroom. Updates completed in May 2024 include fresh paint throughout the house, new carpet, and all new furnishings.

Ideally located in Browns Bay, you can easily walk or bike through the quaint neighborhood to Arnolds Park Amusement Park less than one mile away for fine dining, concerts, shopping, putt-putt golf, and more!

Swim right off the dock or visit the beach at Arnolds Park or Terrace Park (only 1.2 miles away).

Enjoy stunning sunsets from the dock or the house.

A large 3-car garage provides plenty of room for cars, bikes, and lake toys.

No Pets
No smoking
7 day minimum stay. Ideally we would love to have a repeat seasonal renter.
Maximum of 8 overnight guests.
No events, parties, or large gatherings. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Tenant acknowledges the inherent dangers of lakes and deep water.

We had a fantastic five-week stay this summer at this beautiful home in Okoboji. The location was ideal—just a short walk to both Arnold’s Park amusement park and Taco House, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peaceful lakefront sunsets every evening.The house itself was perfect for our family. With four functional bedrooms, including a spacious primary bedroom with stunning lake views, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. One of the bedrooms was especially large and had three closets, which worked perfectly for our three young daughters. The kitchen and living room were comfortable and great for relaxing or sharing meals, and the pantry was a nice bonus for a longer stay. The laundry area was conveniently located near the bedrooms, which made everything easy.Swimming off the end of the dock was a highlight for the kids, and the boat hoist was much appreciated. The air conditioning kept us cool on those hot Iowa days, and the three-car garage gave us plenty of space for our vehicle and bikes.Kristin and Cory were wonderful hosts—accommodating, generous, and always responsive. This was truly a fabulous place for a family gathering at the lake, and we’re grateful for the memories we made here.Highly recommend!
