House had cobwebs but otherwise very clean. Comfortable beds, plenty of room and pet friendly with no size restrictions was definitely a plus! We enjoyed being close enough to hit Chicago one day, but far enough away to have a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of shopping and good food! Enjoyed the little zoo there and seeing the lighthouse again.

Holiday House was everything my family needed on our girls' trip. The house was spotless and beautiful. It was easy to access, and it had great ammenities that a hotel would never have-like two bathrooms, a Keurig, the ability to cook our own meals, etc. In addition, it was close to everything we wanted to do-outlet malls, beaches, Sand Dunes National Park, and great restaurants. We loved staying here, and we would recommend it to any travelers to Michigan City!

Easy place to stay. Provisions included TP, salt & pepper, nearly anything needed to cook a meal, a fancy toaster oven, and clean linens. The mattress in the first floor bedroom was comfy. I didn’t try the others. :) Owner was easy to contact and very helpful! Great place to stay with our 3 dogs.

This is a great house to share with family. We shared this house with our adult children and a dog. This was such a nice house with plenty of room. Could not have asked for anything more. Located with short driving distance to everything.

Place to stay outside of Chicago

We stayed here because we got tickets to the Cubs game a Wrigley field and dint want to stay in Chicago. This house was about an hour from Wrigley, although with game day traffic it took considerably longer to actually get to the game!The house was perfect for my Family if 4. We did have an issue with a storm the first night, we lost power and had no hot water, but the host was very communicative about outage updates and worked with us through those challenges.The home was clean and well appointed.highly recommended!
