The photos of the property are very inviting. When we arrived, they seem slightly deceiving. The house was very clean and had what we needed to prepare meals. The owner recommended some local restaurants to visit, and we would highly recommend the coffee shop across the street. There are many walkable restaurants and Lexington nightlife nearby. Would be a great place for a weekend away without the children.
We enjoyed this unique apartment in a really great location in Lexington. The apartment is in an old building with an enclosed open air courtyard. The eclectic decor is fun and well done. Third Street coffee shop is next door and part of the urban eclectic experience. Loved the hippie vibe. (We are of that age group). A walk around Gratz Park, Lexington's first historic district, is a wonderful afternoon stop. We were in town for Keeneland, a concert at the Opera House, and a trip to Maker's Mark Distillery. This was a perfect location.
