WELCOME TO THE GLEN IN WOODLAND PARK, COLORADO & See why so many of our guests say that The Glen is "The nicest and the very best vacation home they have ever stayed at!"

Hello, we are the Cockroft Family! Owners, Operators, and Neighbors of The Glen!
We enjoy the Rocky Mountains and being in God's Creation! We Enjoy caring for The Glen as a family and as parents, we pray that one day we can pass it down to our Children!
We Love the Glen & we think you will love it too!

Why they chose this property

Aspen Hills is our neighborhood! We have lived here since 2007 when we built our home just up the road. The Aspen Valley that is now called The Glen, has always called to us through the years, and in 2021 we were blessed with the opportunity to purchase it and start the 3 year renovation transformation. Turning it into The Glen and share this Amazing little valley with the public to enjoy for years to come!

What makes this property unique

It begins with intention.

The Glen was not created as a rental. It was designed as a retreat, thoughtfully built with the guest experience at the center of every decision. From the cabin floorplans, materials, amenities, to the smallest detail, all was made around comfort, peace, and the kind of experience that helps you truly unplug and reset.

It starts with the land. A quiet seven acre mountain valley surrounded by mature aspens, pines, spruce, and willows, with granite rock formations, living water, and wildlife all around you. There is a calm here that is hard to explain until you feel it. Guests often say it feels grounding, peaceful, and almost like stepping into another world.

Then there are the cabins. Two of them. The Aspen House and the Willow House. Each one was carefully crafted with warmth and comfort in mind, right down to the details. Having two cabins gives you space to spread out, privacy when you want it, and togetherness when it matters. It works beautifully for families and small groups.

One of our favorite parts of The Glen is the spa, sauna, and lounge decks. If you have never experienced a barrel sauna, this alone is worth the stay. Soaking in the hot tub under the stars, or sitting in the sauna while watching the trees move and the seasons change, is something guests talk about long after they leave.

And then there is the trail. We have our own private trail system that winds through the property. The North Trail is open now and is a guest favorite, especially for a quiet morning walk or a peaceful evening stroll. The South Trail will open soon, adding even more to explore.

At the end of the day, The Glen is not about one feature. It is about how everything comes together. The land, the cabins, the quiet, the care.

The rest is something you really have to experience for yourself.
