Great central location

We found this property very conveniently located near restaurants in the main area in town. Property as advertised, pictures are accurate. If we return to Newport, we would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable condo near downtown Newport

This Wyndham timeshare property is in Newport just an easy walk from the main town/tourist areas in downtown Newport. The complex was clean and well kept although the main pool and hottub were closed for renovation during our visit. As a resort property, there were activities and movies, but we didn't check them out. Parking for 1 car was on site and we enjoyed a 2 bd, 2 ba unit that was accurately described on the VRBO site [except for the main pool construction project]. TVs in the living room and both bedrooms had cable channels and the wifi, although not password secured, was quick and reliable. The unit was clean, quiet and comfortable and met our needs well -- it was a 5 star stay for us.

STELLAR LOCATION!!

Without getting in your car, you can enjoy breakfast at Belle's (across the street in the shipyard), and lunch at the Lobster Shack (corner of Washington and Long Wharf Mall). You can buy wonderful lobsters to take home at the lobster shack too. I believe you can also catch the Hop on Hop off trolley nearby. This setup is like a hotel in the way of no snacks or drinks for you upon arrival-prepare accordingly. There Is a full kitchen to make for a very comfortable stay. The beds are cozy-the couch bed too. I was thankful for full size body wash/sham/cond too. If you happen to forget a toothbrush, the front desk has you covered. You're given the movie/activity schedule, along with a map and pool bracelets at check-in. Communication with Andrew was very easy and pleasant. The pool was out favorite! The location of the main entrance seems to confuse many people as I lead 3 different parties to the front desk. Be sure to enter where you are driving UNDER the portico. Enjoy
