This house is located right on the lake, on a very quiet and peaceful road. The property is great for swimming, fishing, ice fishing, sun bathing, boating, grilling, kayaking, paddle boarding, reading and family fun time. The views are amazing, and the swimming is wonderful on this part of the lake. The house is perfect for a family or group of friends. There are 4 kayaks and 1 paddle board on the property. This house also includes central air, wifi, a dishwasher and a griddle style grill. There is a smart TV and DVD player, but no cable.

We loved this place and vacation. The pictures tell an accurate picture of the home but the property is nicer than depicted. The host and manager were communicative and available. The water is accessible from the back yard but not really swimmable there due to natural issues likes rocks and weeds. Mornings and evenings looking out on the lake are glorious. We rarely repeat spots but this might be a first!

Clean, fresh inside & very nice touch on outside w/ fresh flowers on the patio table & deck. Excellent VRBO for family reunion, plenty of bedroom space for The Fam. (Larger group dining best on the deck)

Excellent property for kids. Gate where on top of stairs, games and toys available. Swim area was doable but for a true beach experience you would want to go to crystal beach. The camp water access suited us. We had ages 4-8 and the kids used floats to play around. We also did a lot of kayaking. Big yard to run around in and great fire pit area.

This is our once a year big family vacation. The place was nice and spacious. With that said, we plan on doing very little for the week, puzzles, reading, swimming, some small hikes. We cook at the house regularly and are not the go out to eat type. There were not any regular kitchen chairs to sit at work a regular litchen table, only the corner booth & it was uncomfortable, the island had 2 tall chairs, but the island leaf was at a terrible downward angle, making it tough to eat at . The outside double deck seating wasn't very comfortable to hang out and read, but ok for a quick dinner. The kayaks were great. The water was ALL algae and not the best to swim in. While it was a nice getaway, I think we would not go back. The biggest problem was the water/swimming condition. If you go, come prepared to bring it buy embryonic you need for seasonings, condiments, ice.. The basics are not there. We did spend time cleaning up the outside area, as there were toys and garbage all over the place. The grill was very well used and dirty while the flat top grill was in unuseable condition. I have paid less for better conditions as we use VRBO every year. This is our 10th year going on a family vacation and I think we learn a little from each rental. Thank you.

Weekend on the lake

My family has stayed here 2 weekends and it was perfect for us. Great location and perfect area to relax. Our dog enjoyed swimming and we enjoyed fishing. Great communication with manager also. Look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful escape away

Perfect place to just get away for a few days and relax/unwind. Absolutely beautiful views and friendly neighborhood. Downtown was a convenient drive and Rutland is a short drive away for more choices to eat out. Truly enjoyed our stay!

A lovely paradise

This is a great place for a family or friends gathering with a beautiful location by the lake and all you need house including games for the kids, a fire pit and kayaks for some water fun activity
