Amazing property! Stayed in this beautiful home for a mother daughter trip. It was spotless, beautiful, and the views are fantastic! We couldn't ask for a better location, it was so quiet and lovely - we enjoyed our stay very much and were able to extend it another couple of days. There are so many upscale touches, robes and slippers, beautiful linens and other luxury appointments. The kitchen is very well stocked and they even provided pancake mix, maple syrup and coffee...and a beautiful deck to enjoy the views any time of day. Our host was kind and very responsive. The little town of Alki Beach was a cute little beach town and the restaurants were so good that we were happy to head down there for dinner most nights. The location is very close to the city but without the noise and crowds. The neighborhood felt very safe and serene. We can't wait to stay here again!

Excellent location, amenities, and host communication—would definitely recommend!
This property met all of our needs for our family stay in West Seattle. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a stunning view of the water. All amenities to meet our needs were provided and the checking/out process was seamless. Ian and Kelly were very communicative and ensured that our stay was going well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an ideal spot in West Seattle!
Our stay at this beautiful property was flawless. Ian was very attentive and checked in often. The home is beautifully appointed in an idyllic setting. We walked to local restaurants and coffee shops every day. The neighborhood is very quiet and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed coffee with our sunrises and a glass of wine with our sunsets on the deck. We will absolutely be back!

Thanks so much Faith! We can’t wait to have you stay with us again 🙌🏼
Two of us stayed at the Beach House in Alki to visit with family in the area. The home was exactly as pictured! The deck drew us in as a beautiful place to visit. And it was perfect with the fire table keeping us warm in the evenings. Loved the glowing lanterns in the trees! The views were amazing! The house was clean and well equipped in kitchen and bathrooms. Ian kept in touch making sure we had everything needed. Our stay was perfect and would definitely return again! Mary
Ian and Kelley have thought of everything to make sure their guests have everything they need for their stay - and they use nice quality items. I will start out by mentioning the home is so clean and welcoming. The many beautiful live plants and Ian’s gorgeous photography displayed throughout the home give off such a great vibe! The view is just wonderful and serene…and you get to see it clearly from many rooms/areas in and out of the home. The location is excellent! Especially if you enjoy the peace and quiet. I am SO glad we chose this home after others we had considered closer to downtown. That would not have been the scene for us. And a bonus was having the water taxi a short drive away for when we wanted to go downtown. Definitely the most convenient way to do downtown, plus, it’s fun (and cheap)! Ian and Kelley were excellent hosts. Great communication and so helpful when I had questions about the different areas to visit and excursions to do. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Seattle!
Beautiful view and house, fantastic for a family of 4
We enjoyed everything about our stay here and would recommend this house to anyone traveling to the Seattle area. The location was excellent - a quiet street and an amazing view of the sound from the living areas and the primary bedroom. Just a quick drive to restaurants and shops and very easy to either drive or take the water taxi to downtown Seattle. The home itself was clean and very nicely decorated and all the linens seemed brand new. The kitchen was well-equipped and included basic condiments and spices which was nice. We didn't do any large dinners but found everything we needed, including some kid friendly cups, a large water filter and re-usable grocery bags for trips to the store. This was a great place for kids. My 7 y/o enjoyed sleeping on the full size top bunk and our almost 3 y/o was happy sleeping in the bottom bunk. They also included a big bucket of toys, puzzles and books, which kept the kids entertained for days. The large deck was fenced in and spacious for the kids to run around on plus had a comfy sofa and a large dining table. Ian was quick to reply and very accommodating - they let us check in a bit early so that we could get our son down for a nap and also left us a baby monitor, which was great to have while we enjoyed the deck and the lanterns in the trees after the kids went to sleep.

About the host

I was born in Southern California and moved to Washington to go to school. I've been here ever since. I'm a professional photographer specializing in Lifestyle Advertising Campaigns and have been for 22 years. We've had so much fun traveling and staying in other people's home (via VRBO and AirBNB) that we wanted to share our experience with others. This home is an absolute gem and we hope you'll love it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is the ideal spot for a family or group looking for a quiet and relaxing get-away. Situated close to so many wonderful restaurants and outdoor activities. It sits on one of the quietest neighborhoods in West Seattle which is why we choose it. We think you'll love it too.
What makes this property unique
This home is situated on one of quietest and most sought after blocks in all of West Seattle. Known for it's winding road with sweeping views, it is flanked by a greenbelt on one side. The street is a cul-de-sac, so there is no through traffic and as a result, there is very little noise and ample privacy. The sweeping views look out over Puget Sound, Vashon and Southworth Islands, Lincoln Park and Blake Island Marine State Park as well as the Olympic Mountains. The greenbelt across the street is the home to countless species of songbirds, hummingbirds, ravens, osprey and a family of Bald Eagles that have nested in a cedar that can be seen from the deck. Beyond the neighborhood, you are ideally located close to notable tourist destinations. Minutes away from Ali Beach, and the West Seattle Water Taxi that offers the best way to get downtown in the summer months. Guests can enjoy the following free amenities included with their stay: - Coffee and Tea selection - Snoqualmie Falls pancake mix and Maple Syrup. - Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil & Spices - Assortment of condiments including Ketchup, Mustard and Hot Sauces - Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Soap
