The property was as listed. Pet Friendly, kitchen, backyard. The only thing was yard and lawn were a little rough, and had some trouble with the keylock getting in. Settled in a quiet neighborhood. Everything 20-30 min away. Grocery store and food close by. Host was really responsive and nice and everything seen online was accurate. I would recommend any family to book there trying to go to Riverwalk or SeaWorld. Me and my family enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

A hidden oasis in a sea of madness

Nestled within the medical center, the house was, overall, a very pleasurable location to bed down at. The neighborhood was full of individuals that appeared to disregard the rules and guidelines the property manager informed us were universal (parking in the street meant an automatic towing of your vehicle) for the neighborhood. Single vehicle guests will be just fine with driveway parking (caution - the driveway is steeper than the norm, and low riders could find it difficult to remain unscathed), and guests can find parking just around the corner. The house was cleaner than other locations we have used through VRBO (Monk would have approved), and came with a fully serviceable kitchen. While the yard was initially unmowed, both front and back were taken care of within 48 hours of our arrival. Being pet friendly (and no deposit charged for our dogs) was a plus. Caution - interior stairs may be problematic for some smaller/older dogs. Property manager was quick to respond to issues (we had a slight miscommunication on our door code), and rectified said issues within mere moments. Location was fantastic for our needs (ample access to major highways, plenty of restaurant choices, and shopping was within a short distance). As of mid-October 2024, there is construction along the roadways in the Medical Center, so be prepared to make some simple to follow detours. Not a fault of the property manager, just providing the data. Could use better shower curtain rings.
