Hello, we are Kayla and Heather, and we are delighted to share our tiny home with you. In 2023 we began the adventure of turning a dream of hosting into a reality. We affectionately call this family owned property Opossum Hollow in honor of grandma, where the name originated. Though the property is abundant in wildlife, we have yet to actually see a opossum. We have truly enjoyed the process of becoming hosts, and our hope is that you will feel like one of the family as you cross the threshold of our home.
Why they chose this property
This property is repeatedly described as peaceful. Sitting on just over an acre it is common to enjoy the company of deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, and the occasional raccoon. A serene little valley is where you will find this home. Located only 5 minutes from Peru, you can enjoy a country setting with all the perks of town living just around the bend.

Not only is the home unique in its size and origin, it was thoughtfully designed with you in mind. With cool tones and a calming interior we think you’ll find yourself at peace both inside and out. We have worked hard to provide a place where you can genuinely feel at home while away. We aim to provide all the right little touches so you can simply relax and enjoy.
