I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! We work hard to give our guests a memorable experience and a clean place to stay. The house is really in a quiet location nestled right on the water. So I'm glad you enjoyed that!

Brian, thanks so much for your kind words. We pride ourselves on having a clean house with beautiful surroundings! Hope you'll come stay with us again 😊 And you're right! There's definitely a vintage feel to the place, but it has everything you need for a great stay!
The House was a lot bigger than expected so much room to spread out. The view was fantastic, my wife is a photographer and spent the early morning on the beach taking pictures. It was close enough to town to be able to get groceries yet far enough out to feel secluded. Can’t wait for the next time we are in the Shelton area and need a place to stay.

Merritt, thank you so much for staying with us. It sounds like you and your family had a wonderful time! I also love taking photos and so I'm glad your wife got a chance to enjoy taking photos on the beach! The natural beach really makes for some beautiful backdrops, no? And I agree -- the location is pretty much perfect. Rural enough for solitude and serenity, but close enough to Shelton (15 min) and Olympia (20 min) to get everything you need! We'd love to host you again 😁
We stayed for 2 nights. The home is comfortable and well maintained. The views are beautiful. The owner provided great communication and could not have been nicer¡

David, thanks so much for being our guest! Glad you had a great time and enjoyed the views. Would love to host you again next time!
Great place. A few oven issues and tv downstairs didn't work. Would have loved tvs in the bedrooms. It was still great.

Thanks for your stay and kind words! We're always happy to help if anything comes up — we didn’t hear about any issues during the visit, but wish we had, as we could’ve addressed them right away. The oven has since been double-checked and is working beautifully. The downstairs TV has a part en route that we will replace soon. Lastly, we intentionally omit televisions from the bedrooms to allow guests a chance to disconnect and enjoy the scenery. We appreciate your feedback!
Stayed here for our anniversary and very enjoyed it !!
Lots of stuff to cover all needs and on top of it all are kayaks and scenic views. A shore line is mostly rocks with lots of shells, live and empty. Lots of kayaking opportunities but watch for tides schedule.
Overall, the good place to stay and spend a few days regardless of a season..

The rental has a beautiful view. The host was very communicative and nice and provided a welcoming gift the next day with breakfast and coffee delivered to the door steps. The actual property itself is nothing like the pictures which is very disappointing. There is only 1 shower in the entire house which is inconvenient when you have a larger group staying at the house. The house itself is dated and at night, it is not well lit through out the house. Some of the lights were not functioning. The upstairs bathrooms smelled pretty bad, and the water in the shower and sinks have a rusty pipe smell where we all felt like it is not safe to brush our teeth or shower. There is a small twin bed in one of the rooms upstairs that is super uncomfortable and squeaked every time you move a little.Downstairs: as you make your way downstairs, there is a room with a rod and curtain covering it. Looks unfinished and is not listed on the listing. On the last day when we removed linen on the bed downstairs, we found blood stains. After that, we did not touch the other beds upstairs.Outside: the view is beautiful as mentioned but the property needs some attention outside. The deck is caved in a little and the trees and shrubs are overgrown into the walk path heading down to the lake. Even the walk path needs to be updated so it’s safer to walk down. Overall it is a good location with great views, just needs a little more attention to the overall property.
