Relax in a peaceful comfortable retreat tucked away from everything , enjoy beautiful views of the foothills, large outdoor deck over looking the pool and HangTown creek, private , quiet,secure sounded by nature, just 4 miles to historic downtown Placerville, which is full of shops featuring local artists, antiques,the oldest working hard ware store west of the Mississippi, restaurants, music and more.Coloma just 6 miles away on the beautiful American river is where gold was discovered a quaint town full of history offers gold panning, white water rafting,go floating down river, hiking and biking trails, restaurants and more. Apple Hill is just 7 miles away and has many wonderful farms were fresh products are yours to pick,pies,produce and more.Many local wineries & brewery's nearby, south lake Tahoe just 1 hour 20 minutes away.
Guest access is made simple with a keyless entry code and private
Parking area in upper driveway. Owner lives in unit below there is a gate located at top of inside stairs and a permanent barrier at bottom of stairs with curtains that cover the barrier. The owner has a separate entrance and parking area below.Pool is open June 1st to October 1st depending on weather conditions.

This was a peaceful retreat from all the wedding events! We had everything we needed, including a late night swim to relax after the wedding. It is so close to town but it feels like a true get away from everything!

Serene Accommodations

The accommodations were very cozy, quiet and serene. The House had a beautiful deck overlooking forested area by the creek below. The house was very, very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. It was really neat seeing deer, goats and wild turkeys near the property.

Wonderful getaway

Keri our host was so sweet and accommodating. The house was lovely, it made us feel welcomed. The patio was great to sit out on in the mornings and evenings. We were gone from 11:00 am to 6 or 7 each day but got one mornining in the pool which was very refreshing. Highly recommend this home The Getaway is the perfect name . Thank you Keri for sharing it with us.
