Great house. Listing photos accurate. Close to everything. Our dogs really love the fenced in yard. It was great to be able to sit down and relax outside and not worry about them. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely book again when we’re in the area.
Jason was very responsive to my inquiries. The house itself has so much character! Inside was a treasure trove of vintage and antique pieces. Leather sectional in the living room was perfect for the family to watch evening movies after a day exploring or at the beach. Neighbors were friendly. Kitchen did not have a stove with an oven but we made do with the cooktop, microwave and outside grill. Would stay there again.

Thank you Betsy!! Loved having y’all. Such a pleasure when I make new friends with people that stay at the cottage. When y’all come back, the microwave is an oven. I need to make a little sign or something because y’all aren’t the first to mention it. It’s an air fryer/oven/ microwave combo. That contraption is a new concept to me. Thanks again!!
This little Fishing Cottage reminded us of “a little cabin up north on a lake in Minnesota”. We felt much at home. Jason was a great host recommending places we should visit and local restaurants. It’s located just three miles from beautiful Carrabelle Beach and walking distance to the marinas and local establishments. We traveled with our young dog which worked out great. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. A fishing charter was fantastic! We had more fish than we could eat!
Great host with excellent communication. The house was well furnished, clean & comfortable. Wonderful water pressure in a spotless shower. There were food amenities everywhere in the kitchen. Coffee, spices, condiments, and every kind of cooking utensil you could ask for. I loved this place!!
Anyone who has Havilah Babcock books on the bedside table is going to get 5 Stars from me.In all seriousness- this was advertised accurately, and I would stay there again if I was coming back down to fish again.
It was the most adorable cottage, so much charm and comfort. We were very pleased with our stay and will recommend to anyone. Definitely gets 5 stars! Hope to stay here again in the future!
The family really enjoyed our stay at this charming Old Florida house from the turn of the century. Great location, plenty of space in the fenced yard for our boat trailer. The house was comfortable with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We brought our dogs which was a plus! The house had tons of character being over 100 years old. Jason was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.
We loved staying here for the simplicity, history, and very convenient location! This cozy old cottage is clean, well kept, and perfect for a weekend stay. It’s a family friendly neighborhood but also within short walking distance to the water and restaurants/bars. I’m especially grateful for how Jason welcomed my dog- no hesitation when asked and even provided a tennis ball and huge water bowl! Thank you!! We will be back!
I really enjoyed staying at this house. It is perfect for someone who needs to just get away for a few days. It would work for a family too, but that’s just not what I used it for. The WiFi was great. I was able to keep working. It is close to the grocery store, Dollar General, and restaurants.
The only “problems” I had were completely out of the owner’s control. I brought my three dogs with me and one of them is a hunting hound. His nose led him astray a couple of times and he was able to get out of the property. I just kept him on a leash after that. There is also a rooster like a block over. I cannot stand roosters. But you can’t hear it in the house at all.
The house was very clean and welcoming. The outside has a bunch of cool plants too. They have fruit trees and tons of flowers.
All in all, I enjoyed my stay here. It was great.
