Buck 'N Ham Lodge is a beautiful log cabin on a large private wooded lot with mountain views. This cabin offers easy access year-round and has a paved circular driveway! This hard-to-find level lot provides a safe area for kids to play! Take in the mountain views from the wraparound deck while relaxing in the Adirondack rocking chairs under the covered deck, or simply enjoy the screened-in deck. A small weather creek just steps away from the cabin! This cabin sleeps 6, which is ideal for families with children. Indulge in a mountain cabin experience while enjoying all the modern conveniences of home with a fully equipped kitchen, A/C, central heat, fireplace, full washer and dryer, digital cable, HD TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, GameCube, lots of board games/puzzles/card games, Free WiFi, Free unlimited local and long-distance phone calls, cornhole boards, playground (with rock climbing walls, swings, trapeze bar, slide, clubhouse tower), tetherball, a hammock, campfire, picnic table, and a gas grill.

Primary Bedroom on the second floor with a king bed. Second bedroom on the first floor with a queen bed, a queen pull-out bed in the living room, and 2 full bathrooms!

Conveniently located just over a mile from the main road in Maggie Valley. Ideal location with year-round easy access in the winter months and only minutes to snow tubing and the ski slopes!

The owner sent ahead of us arriving places to go and see, where grocery stores and restaurant were located. Our phones would not work there without internet. The note book said there was no password but there was. Look on refrigerator it had the pass word. Great place to stay and easy to find. Would go again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything we needed. Our kids absolutely loved the playground, and it gave them a safe space to play while we relaxed. Overall, it was a cozy, family-friendly spot, and we’d love to come back!

Misadvertizement,panaramic veiw from walk around porch terrable.House in front yard house next door barking dogs whole time we were there.No scenic veiw.Both out door lights out could'nt see getting in or out of cabin.Nails raised up in hand rail.fire pitt was'nt cleaned out.Pictures of cabin make it look more sucluded.Not what we were looking for.Guess it would be great for a large family.Great location close to maggie valley and cherokee.

Thank you for your feedback. We take pride in accurate listing descriptions and do not advertise panoramic views or complete isolation, though we regret that some neighboring dogs disrupted your stay. Regarding maintenance, we immediately inspected the handrails and found no raised nails. We discovered a tripped breaker and found an outside outlet that needed to be replaced, which caused the breaker to trip. We have replaced that outlet, and now all of the outdoor lights are fully functional. However, the string lights on the deck were working and automatically come on at dusk. We are glad you enjoyed our great location in Maggie Valley and our close proximity to Cherokee. Thank you for staying with us.

This cabin is great for kids. Gaming cube, outdoor play area, and plenty of yard area for the kids to run around. We enjoyed the bonfire and made s’mores. Communication response with owner was extremely fast. Would book here again.

Our family had a wonderful time. Perfect for young kids and in a great location. Couldn't have asked for a more cozy, family friendly stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we need. I loved the fully equipped kitchen which made the stay even better. Big plus on stainless steel pots and pans as well!! The host is also very responsive if you need anything. We hope to be back again!

This is a beautiful, authentic log cabin, located on a large, level lot with mountain views! It is hard to find a level lot with mountain views. Love to sit out on the deck that wraps around the entire cabin. This cabin also offers easy year-round access.
