Celebration of Life

Our group included a number of life-long friends from the west coast. The location was very convenient to the airport and Cary where we met with other friends and family.The home had everything we needed for our stay - thank you!

Needs work

The house definitely needs some work done. The master shower has black mold. The top of the stairs is a hazard and needs to be fixed. Needs more seating and tv’s in the bedrooms. The house is big enough but needs a lot of attention.

Perfect house rental

This is a great home in a wonderful community.The home had everything you need if you are going to be using the kitchen. I would have liked more seating in the living room, we were a party of six. However we really only slept here as we were in town for a family wedding. Another small issue is the house was very cold. The ac was on 63 degrees and was not able to regulate. But it was still a very comfortable home overall. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is in a great area. Unfortunately, it is in terrible shape. You can see from the pictures that there are multiple repairs needed’ just to make it acceptable for the cost of the rental. There are holes in walls, broken parts of stairs, broken light switches, the sliding door to the deck doesn’t work. The window frames and siding are rotted. There is little furniture, no rugs, and bare essentials in the kitchen. Also, the HVAC filters were filthy, and they were not changed as requested. The dishwasher is almost inoperable because the racks are crooked. The refrigerator water and ice dispensers are broken. There were dead cockroaches in the closet. The master bath shower was full of mold and panted over, and there was a hole in the wall by the shower due to tottering and water damage. There were broken wall fixtures to hold toilet paper. Some bed pillows were old and stained, and couldn’t be used. We hosted family for Christmas, and it was difficult. The house is not as advertised.I am happy to send more pictures of the rotted wood and windows at the exterior of the house.

Its ok, the price was right

The place needs a good remodel, beds were hard. Hot water was a mystery, sometimes it worked sometimes it didn’t. Like sink was hot one night the next nothing. Needs some basic maintenance like caulking of the showers. Just seems like the house is being used but nobody is maintaining it. It is ok, the price was right considering the condition.

Lots of room!

The property was very convenient and easy to get to. The beds were comfortable and 4 bedrooms let us spread out but be together. The dining room and kitchen were good and had what we needed for plates, silverware, etc. The ice maker and water for the fridge didn’t work so we needed store bought ice. The family room space was lacking enough seating for more than 2-3 people with only a stained couch to sit on. There are also no lamps in the family room so you need to rely on the fanlight. In addition, the top step is peeling and is a tripping hazard. Overall, it provided a good place for a family weeken. The property could just use some refreshing!
