We loved our stay. Pool was a bit cool but still enjoyed it. Plenty to do, pool, hot tub and fire pit! Never did make it to enjoy the lake. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Communication with the host was spot on. Definitely recommend this place!

Everything was great. Location. Layout of the house. A water cooler with hot and cold options. Access to the lake. Trails nearby. Very nice fire pit. The host was quick to respond. Nicely stocked kitchen.

The property and stay were overall amazing. We had a group of 10. All the amenities made sure that everyone had something to do. From the board games, the yard games, pool, hot tub, swimming pool, fire pit, golf cart kayaking & fishing there’s so much to do. Grab a kayak and head out on the water around 6:45 am to watch the most beautiful sunrise. A foggy morning makes it even more breathtaking.

We had a wonderful time with our girls trip! The hottub was incredible. The amenities were so helpful and just as described. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the very comfy couches. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the house. Kevin was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything you need. Very nice house. We lost electricity from a storm for a while but Kevin answered and put us at ease. Nine women and we had a great weekend. Thank you!!!

Lakeside Acres has set the highest standard of cleanliness, supplies, communication for a relaxing stay. Everything necessary for a complete vacation is stocked. Pool, games of all sorts, pin ball machine, hot tub, kayaks, and much more. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, cups, and pots and pans. Would highly recommend staying at Lakeside Acres.

Just as described. Clean well maintained property. Perfect for a family vacation there is very little to do.in the area. Shops-gas-groceries about 15 minutes away..but there is alot to do the property. Pool. Hot tub. Lake w. Kayaks-paddleboard. Amenities on site. Board Games and arcade games

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The property was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. We especially enjoyed the kayaks, which made for a fun way to explore the water. The pool and hot tub were definite highlights for our group and perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.For future summer guests, I’d recommend bringing a fan if you plan to spend a lot of time upstairs, as the kitchen area can get a bit warm during extremely hot weather. That said, the bedrooms and basement stayed comfortably cool.Overall, this was a fantastic getaway spot, and we will absolutely be staying here again!

Spacious home on the lake

Spacious clean home, comfortable beds. Great pool and hot tub and friendly hosts. Plenty of towels and standard supplies. Wifi is lacking, but that's the country for you, and cell signal is plenty adequate upstairs and streaming services worked great on the tvs! We rented the golf cart and it was handy and fun to explore with. Tons of fish jumping but no luck catching anything, bait store was just down the road. Having 2 kitchens and fridges was handy too. Only complaint was the house temperature. We weren't familiar with the wall a/c units before this stay, and we run warm. With the doors shut on the bedrooms it was cool thankfully, but the upstairs living room and kitchen were SO hot, but it was also a very hot and humid week! We brought extra fans and it helped so just keep that in mind for a mid-summer stay. Overall we loved it and would highly recommend.

This home gave our family exactly what we were hoping for a place to simply slow down and enjoy being together. We had 12 people ranging in age from 2 to 54, representing three generations, and it was perfect.The siblings enjoyed reconnecting, the cousins made memories playing together, and the parents loved having everyone under one roof. The men snuck away for a couple rounds of golf, parents snuck out for a day to Berlin to antique shop, all shared a wonderful family dinner at Arnie’s Steakhouse, plus a day at Funtimes and the grown kids even enjoyed visiting a local winery. Other than those outings, we were perfectly happy spending our time at the house, enjoying the pool and the lake.The host truly thought of everything. Every little detail had been considered, making our stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and we’re already talking about coming back.

Stayed in April, when had both great and rainy weather. Nice place with multiple levels, clean, roomy, with stocked kitchen. Lower level board games, arcade games and pinball machine made rainy day stay enjoyable. Great outdoor space! Combined patio tables on large deck for outdoor dining and enjoying the evening. Hot tub close to deck and house made easy to enjoy. Large firepit on property can accommodate 8 people around it. Easy access to lake and near by trails. Very responsive host/owner, was available to assist with stay, from reservation to departure. If you like to get away and enjoy the outdoors, this is a good spot.

Seeing as you did not actually stay with us and your reservation was refunded in full, we don't believe this review is a fair assessment of our home or the experience we provide our guests. We advised you we were having issues with our heating system 3 days in advance of your stay, and we have a complicated mini-split system, so getting service on it is a challenge (we are STILL working on fixing this as of the date of my response to your review in March). You knew all this and were offered an opportunity to cancel your stay, but you did not. We even went out and made sure there was an alternate source of heat in the home so you could still stay if you wanted, and provided safe space heaters in the home that were properly positioned and keeping the home at 72 degrees. Then you show up You incorrectly sent a message saying the home wasn't "livable and it was illegal to heat with space heaters" (it's not, by the way, and had you given us an opportunity to respond, we would have informed you of this and given you all the safety features found on those space heaters). You left in less than a half hour We then refunded you 100% I am sorry that our mini-split system broke, and I understand you didn't get to enjoy a weekend with friends at our home as a result, but that doesn't make our home a one-star experience. There's nothing more we could have done, and the bottom line is that you never stayed with us.
