Your cozy getaway awaits in Salida at this delightful ranch house, surrounded by 8 acres of fenced horse property ( horses welcome upon request) with a beautiful view of the Collegiate Peaks. This 3 bedroom, 1 bath includes a king bed, queen bed, and twin trundle bed.
Fully stocked kitchen.
Access to a golf target green upon request.

There’s plenty of space for you and your guests to relax and unwind.
The farmhouse features all the essentials you need for a wonderful stay, such as WiFi & streaming TV, laundry/mud room with washer/dryer.

Spacious outdoor decks, gas grill & comfortable outside seating.
Experience the magic of Salida at our ranch house!

You are 15 minutes away from downtown Salida with the Arkansas river running through it.
There are many opportunities to shop, dine, raft, fish, hike & ski!
The continental divide is a short drive away to hike, snow shoe & cross country ski.

Salida is noted for its many festivals throughout the summer as well as great skiing at Monarch ski area 20 minutes away.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please take garbage & recycling to outside bins at side of house by stairs, put lids on tight.
Turn the thermostats to 60 degrees Turn off lights & fans Close all the window blinds & curtains
Please check that all kitchen appliances are off, including the gas fire place in living room and outside grill.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not walk or drive through the back/North gate, it is Private Property. Please no swimming or fishing in pond.
Please use trash and recycle cans in kitchen. When full, please put the bags in their respective cans on side of house, and close lids tight.
Keep front curtains closed during the day in summer to keep the house cool and open windows at night. winter -open front curtains for passive solar.

This place is really nice! Just as advertised, it has great views, a calm setting, and it's comfortable inside. We loved the real furniture. It felt like we were staying at a relative's house. We will probably be back next ski season!

The ranch was everything I hoped it would be. It's not too remote and not too close to town. There's plenty of stars in the sky to watch every night. And, best of all, it's as quiet as can be. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're out in Salida.

Fantastic Mountain View’s from every window and the porch. We enjoyed watching the horses and prairie dogs. The mattresses were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The property owners were very kind.

Perfect little vacation rental

We stayed at the ranch March 14-17, 2025. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. There was a beautiful view of the mountains from the living room windows. Steve was quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. It was the perfect location between Monarch mountain and Salida. We would definitely stay here again!

Views on views

Steve was a very accommodating host and offers a unique experience in the Chaffee County area. The guest house has everything you need to feel like home as well as views to take your breath away from any window you choose to look out of. Fingers crossed this is available next time we make our way into the mountains!
