It was a very family friendly resort- no smoking in rooms or balconies. Amenities included pool and mini golf which were open until 10pm - nice for something to do after dinner. Quiet hours were adhered to - would definitely stay here again!

Pros: price very competitive compared to downtown properties. A little further out than we liked but can’t beat the price. Elevator is a plus. Plenty of room and nice master bath Cons: Heater never hit room above 61 degrees. Difficult to sleep at that temperature. Kitchen stocked with enough coffee and creamer for one person, but accommodations for 4 people for 4 nights. Coffeemaker was a hot mess sputtering and splattering everywhere. Lots of pillows but all the same. Recommend offering a variety of firmness.

The resort was great. The only complaint was the girl giving the keys out really pushed us to listen to a sales presentation. When we declined she became more aggressive in her tactics to get us to accept the offer. I have done that dance before, and when I say no, I mean no. It was not the welcome I expected, and she was rude and would not talk to us afterwards. Other than that, everything was wonderful and beautiful.

I did not realize this was a timeshare property and did not appreciate the pressure at check in to attend a meeting about it. I was there simply for the historic sites and had no interest in learning about timeshare options. Also, the bathtub was not very clean. The whole unit smelled strongly of bleach when we first checked in, but as the week passed it started to smell musty.

Room was as pictured, amenities were wonderful. Only issue was the tvs have only cable with no guide at all, so you had no idea what you were getting. Would have been nice if they paid the little extra for the cable guide or some kind of streaming capabilities for when you’re trying to wind down in the evening.
