Enjoyed the location! Having your own lake access is so enjoyable when fishing each day! The cabin was roomier than we thought & communication with Amy was great! Would definitely come back!
We had the best time! The beach and shallow water was perfect for our 3 and 4 year old. The paddle boards were a hit. The house was good sized. Plenty of space. No issues.
Very cozy and clean cabin. The property was well kept and had great access to the lake. The host was helpful and very accommodating. Definitely would stay here again!
Great cozy cabin right on the lake, plenty of room for all of us. Loved it!!! It was awesome that Amy let Clover come out and play with me and the girls... what a beautiful, friendly dog...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Great location on the lake to take our kayaks out for some fun. The host lived on the property, but we never saw her. She gave great directions to the location and even left us a little gift when we arrive.
We would definitely come back again in the future.
Pros: The beach and lake access was wonderful. We had two three-year olds with us who loved playing in the sand and water. The cabin was clean and as described. Cons: The grill was filthy. We tried burning the old grease and food off and using a brush on it, but it still flavored our food, unfortunately. The kitchen only had a muffin tin for baking, no baking sheets. There were non-reusable pie tins, but they didn't work well on the grill. We couldn't use the oven to bake, only the grill, because someone had lined the bottom of the oven with cheap non-stick aluminum foil. We assumed it was normal foil and used the oven. When the foil caught on fire, I grabbed the box out of the drawer and saw it had a non-stick coating and should never be used to line an oven. To be clear, we were not the ones who lined the oven with it, as we were cooking tator tots, which I would not be concerned about dripping. Last, but the worst, is that the deck is not safe. There are many bad boards that would bow under the weight of the three-year olds. My daughter-in-law fell through one. Her ankle was all scratched up and swollen. She can walk on it, but it is painful. The event ruined her vacation and we had to spend the rest of the time warning the kids and each other about all the weak areas. I took pictures of how the deck boards do not meet on the stringers, making the ends not have any support. They are also old and in poor shape. The deck is dangerous.
