Welcome to your unforgettable Crystal Lake getaway where you will be steps away from putting your toes in the warm sandy beach and sparkling blue waters. Get ready to create priceless memories with friends and family as you enjoy the cozy accommodations in our three-bedroom, two-bathroom lake house. Just purchased in Fall of 2024, we have made significant updates starting with all the main level flooring, beds, couches, décor, interior doors, and a completely updated kitchen. The bottom floor features the primary bedroom with one queen sized bed and a beautiful view of the Crystal Lake. An additional bedroom is located on the main floor that also includes a queen sized bed and a stacked washer and dryer. A full bathroom is located right outside both bedrooms and is easily accessible to all guests. Follow the spiral staircase to find a spacious third bedroom complete with two full-under-twin memory foam bunk beds; a full private bath; and breathtaking views of the water. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or mimosa on the deck overlooking the private sandy beach and personal dock. Interested in getting out on one of the beautiful Crystal Lake sand bars? Inquire about renting our beautiful 26-foot Avalon Catlina Tri-toon. Be sure to grab your fishing poles and take a seat on the quiet bench located at the end of the dock as you soak in the beautiful sun rays. Need a break from the lake? Follow the scenic M-22 drive to Sleeping Bear National Park, multiple local area golf courses, St. Ambrose Cellars, or the beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort. Take a short drive into the charming Village of Beulah and the City of Frankfort, which provides quaint shops, restaurants and access to the stunning shoreline of Lake Michigan. Embrace lakeside living at its finest in this extraordinary beach front home.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please strip all beds you used and place all used linens at the end of the bed. Please wash all dishes and put away before you leave, if using dishwasher, only use the speed 60 cycle.
If grill/fire pit was used, please empty the ash in to the right side of garage (if you are looking at garage door).Finally, please leave the cottage in the manner you found it.
Please turn all portable A/C units and lights off
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Parking is limited to 2 cars in the winter and 3 in the summer. Street parking is 100% not permitted for trailers or cars.
Quiet hours are between 11pm-7am. Please be kind to our retired police officer neighbor who lives there year round

Magical Week in July 2025

The best VRBO we have ever stayed. The property, location, amenities, communication, etc. were all top notch. The Owners were wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. Annual Family Vacation

We have been coming to Crystal Lake for many years, and this was the nicest property we have ever stayed at. The house was so clean, the deck and the beach were just wonderful. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our grandchildren. The owners Chad and Diana have added many little touches that made this stay a home run!! Communication with them was perfect. We can't wait to come back, again if I could give 6 stars i would. I highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Northern Michigan getaway.

A gem on Crystal Lake

Chad and Diana were great hosts. Great communication and a great location. For our annual birthday trip for one of my good friends we typically try to go ice fishing. Tried out Crystal Lake for the first time. The hosts were great in suggesting some places around for us to access the lake and park trailers, etc. Property was modern with a very nice interior. It still maintained the “up north” feel with the decor and location! Water front would be awesome in the warmer months. Awesome views from almost every room of the house.Highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

From the crystal clear waters to the live music and ambiance at St. Ambrose Cellars, the location of our lake home cannot be beat. We are a quick drive to the scenic Sleepy Bear Dunes and a short drive to Crystal Mountain Resort, where you can golf, ski, swim and enjoy the Alpine Slide with friends and family. The Cherry Bowl Drive-In is a family favorite where you can enjoy a true drive-in movie experience. Myriad golf courses also surround the area, so be sure to bring your clubs!

What makes this property unique

Our water access is incredible! We are one of the few homes on Crystal Lake that still has a sandy entrance into the beautiful water. Build sandcastles with your kiddos or bury your feet in the sand as you relax on the lakefront property.
