Not only was it one of the early Native American gathering places, the American Fur-trade Post was formerly located on the property and the site of the signing of the Treaty of La Pointe, in 1854.

Walk in footsteps of President Coolidge, who was hosted by the Gary family in 1928.

This property was built in the 1920's, renovated 2023-24. The home boasts 9 lovely bedrooms, 7 bathrooms. With its vast living room, dining room and kitchen it’s perfect for entertaining large groups. This spacious waterfront home(roughly 9000 sqft), is in close proximity to downtown (2 blocks). Enjoy a stroll to the lake. Enjoy the large sprawling yard for gathering and games. The private beach is perfect for waterfront activities, complete with incredible sunsets, lounge chairs, kayaks, paddle-boards and fire pit to enjoy the long summer days.
