The Space: This Home is situated on a 22 acre private waterfront estate. Nature lovers will be in their glory with Kent Islands wildlife all around you. Bring the kids bikes--we have a 1/4 mile private drive for the to ride and explore.
The first floor has the Foyer, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Den, Full Bathroom, and a Washer/Dryer.
Located on the second floor is Three Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: (1) King Size Bed Bedroom 2: (1) King Size Bed Bedroom 3: (2) Queen Size Beds
All Bedrooms, Living Rooms and Dens have Smart TV's with streaming services. While all the bedrooms have doors for privacy, you have to walk through the Bedroom 3 to access Bedrooom 2. The House also has WIFI, A/C, Heating, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker (Both Keurig and Drip), most common spices for the cooks in the group and a fully outfitted Kitchen with all essentials.
Blankets, pillows, linens and bath towels ARE provided with the home.
Guest Access: You will have full access to the entire house and property, with the exception of the main home and its immediate area, garage, and exterior buildings.

The stay was perfect! We were able to have our family in John’s other listing as well which was perfect and so convenient! We loved everything about the house and the property is beautiful!
Hidden gem on Kent Island! Super clean property and John was responsive. We loved the lay out of the house and the decor. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat with nature all around, rent this property! Highly recommend!

Everything was clean and easy to use. Lots of space for different activities inside and out. Good location.Two small suggestions: It would have been nice to have had the porch light on when we arrived since it was a dark and rainy night. Secondly, Small plates in addition to the good supply of dinner plates and glassware would have been appreciated. Thanks for asking!
Visited the area for a wedding nearby. The house was immaculate. Location was central to all including Cracker Barrel. The house has a covered front porch that allows you to enjoy the wildlife and surrounding nature. Serene location. Well maintained, bright interior and all the amenities you need. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again.
This location was great for visiting our family on KI. The property is very secluded and quiet with a view of a Mansion in the distance. It's close to all shopping, restaurants and main highways. We had everything we needed to cook some meals at home and a few glitches that John took care of right away. Quick response to my questions. The layout of the house is a bit quirky, but charming. We def would stay again.
The farmhome, setting and our host could not have been better. Our host was very accomodating, hospitable and welcoming. Easy communications. Such peaceful and serene surroundings, just lovely. The home itself was perfect - comfortable for our family (four adults), with modern amenities and old charm galore! Our Thanksgiving was wonderful and the farmhome will be a repeat visit for sure!
This property is a perfect private getaway that nestled on an expansive property. It’s minutes from all the Bay Bridge, retail, and restaurants, but in a perfectly quiet country setting. The property features high quality linens, excellent mattresses, fast wifi, and pleasantly decorated. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. One sweet touch was a welcome basket that included snacks and toiletries that travels often forget. I would definitely recommend this quaint and quirky property for vacation or a quick get away.
This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The house was fantastic. The property was quiet with a lot of wildlife. We saw deer, fox, cranes, and many other forms of wildlife. The house had access to a channel of water with kayaks, yet the property was only a mile from stores. We were able to visit Annapolis, Washington DC, and the Atlantic Coast easily. The property owners were absolutely outstanding. We have used VRBO many times all over the country, and this house was at the top in terms of the best all around experience. John goes over and above accommodating his guests. His fast responses for questions being asked were answered in a timely fashion. Provided us with a beautiful clean home. That made us feel right at home and we loved that. It is very close to any and everything you need. Restaurants, stores. gas stations etc Premier host is an understatement. Highly recommend booking with him. We will definitely be back.
John's home is a beautifully renovated farm house. It sits on a 22 acre corn and soy bean farm with plenty of open space for take morning, afternoon, or evening strolls. Also, the Chesapeake Bay is a very short walk from the house (you can see the water from the house). If you want privacy, except for some wildlife friends (deer, fox, birds), this is the place for you. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. John is extremely personable and responds immediately to any requests or questions. Three of my life-long friends and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable girl's get-a-way. We will certainly check out John's other vacation rentals. You will not be disappointed booking with John.
