We wished we could've stayed longer than our planned three nights. The properry is perfect for peaceful fall views of Big Stone Lake while gathered with family.
Our expectations with the property were right on point! Communication with the host and her response time was quick. Everything went as planned and as advertised. Home was nice and very clean! We did a lot of fishing but not much catching...the fish won on this occasion. Location was awesome on the point, might have to come back and check it out open water!
We had a family reunion in South Dakota so made it a 2 night family stay. Kelli was quick to respond and gave information that was helpful for our group. Like the pizza place that delivers and sand toys in the bin ready for little diggers. This lake home did not disappoint! The inside is so well kept and we were surprised so many times. One surprise was the kitchen full of things anyone would wish their kitchen has and more. For instance, I brought a divided container for fruit and the exact one was there as will as a fruit slicer I brought. Another surprise was the many toys in the sandbox and the inside toys in the cubes in the living room. Our grandkids loved the magna-tiles, toy cars and tractors and books. A special touch is the ceiling night lights in the bathrooms as well as the plug in ones throughout the home.We enjoyed kayaks, the sandbox area, sitting on the dock, the patio and the screened in porch (after the kids went to bed). With having the kids upstairs/loft style we couldn’t use the living room or kitchen for games as we would not have been quiet enough so the screened area fit 6 (once we added a few chairs). Since we had to be gone for one day for reunion we weren’t able to hang out as much we liked in the water and fishing etc. A return trip maybe in our future.I could go on and on but just book it and find what you discover there.
