Spacious Lake Paradise!

Fantastic acreage on the lake with gorgeous grass and beach! Perfect for families who want space outside with amazing views! Even with 10 of us we never felt crowded! Well stocked and very comfortable and fantastic owners!

An absolutely fantastic week!

What an amazing property! They had everything you needed plus more. We felt like we were staying at a private resort, paddle boards, kayaks, a very well-equipped kitchen, beautiful rooms and fantastic beach front. Came with friends and we all want to come back!

Amazing lake front

This is such an amazing waterfront location with total privacy. It's a huge lot and just wonderful landscaping. Dock, paddle boards, and kayaks for on the water fun. Just a perfect patio with dinner and fireplace seating with water, yard, and mountain views. Really the best setting I've ever had the pleasure to rent. I actually hate to right a review because I want this place to myself but the property needs to be bragged on. 10/10 Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful lakefront property

Lago Vista is the perfect place for a family vacation. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, outdoor furniture was great for reading and napping and the large yard was perfect for the kids to run around and play.

Fabulous Family week on Lake Osoyoos

What a wonderful home on a beautiful lake! Our family of five and the kids' bf/gfs enjoyed a magical family week in this lovely home on the lake. What a gem! So private, relaxing and just perfect. This home is so well appointed. We made all of our meals in the great kitchen, played games in the yard, swam, boated and had a terrific vacay!

Pictures don’t do it justice

So much nicer than expected! The kitchen is perfect for anyone who really likes to cook; plenty of dishes, spices way beyond the basics, and any appliance you might want. So clean. And there is more than enough cozy outdoor spaces to accommodate large groups getting together or spreading g out for some privacy.

Returned to perfection after the flooding.

Again, our family had a great time this year. Burke and Deborah did a wonderful job after the lake flooding. It is impossible to see that it ever occured. The new windows are a great addition also. This is a wonderful place to spend time with family.

A wonderful private haven on the lake!

We stayed here last year for the first time & booked again this year for the beginning of July. Love it so much, have booked already for 2019! There are 20 of us & it works really well. The cottage & guest house are truly charming and are well stocked with everything you're going to need, just need to pick up groceries! The property is perfect, especially for kids, lots of room to run around, play football, soccer, even baseball! Set up a net for volleyball & badminton. Of course time in the lake is tops on the list, it's perfect for everyone, easy to walk into. Evenings are always around the firepit! It's hard to find a place for large family get togethers but we've found our paradise! The owners, Deborah & Burke , are wonderful to deal with & make the whole experience so comfortable !

Beautiful Lakefront Property

We knew when we drove down the long winding driveway and saw Lake Osoyoos that we had found an incredible property. A property that was unique, serene and very private - just perfect for our group of eight. The view of the lake was stunning. The property was immaculate with large grassy areas, a dock, a swimming beach and a large fire pit. We made our way along 450 feet of waterfront and opened the door to a beautifully restored home. The inside décor was casually elegant. The recently renovated kitchen was gorgeous and fully equipped with high end appliances - everything you would need to cook meals for large or small groups. The kitchen easily accommodated 2 or 3 people to help prepare meals and clean up. The inside dining area seated 8 very comfortably and looked out over the lake. It inspired many evenings of lively conversation. There was also an outside dining area that we used for gathering in the afternoon or late evening. The bedrooms had excellent beds with high quality sheets and duvets. They were so comfortable. The guest cottage was also beautifully decorated with two additional bedrooms with king size beds. Waking up in the morning looking out over the lake was awesome. We were all sad when our wonderful week at Lago Vista Place ended. BUT…we shall return!!

Has it All!!

This property fit our family reunion needs perfectly. All of the adults took the bedrooms and there was plenty of beds in the common areas for the children. We had kids from toddlers to teenagers and they all enjoyed the expansive property. The kitchen, BBQs, and appliances supplied us with everything we needed to cook and feed the whole crew. If we weren't up for cooking then there are enough choices in town to keep everyone happy; Breadline Diner at Veranda Beach, Hometown Pizza, Pastime Bar & Grill, Alpine Brewery, Taber's Fruit Stand, taco trucks, and coffee shops. Our family loved the amenities provided for the lake; trampoline fun island, kayaks, and dock for our boat rental. The large lawn was great because we brought our own volleyball court and had family tournaments all week long. The group also enjoyed golfing at Oroville Golf Club. We frequently have to board our dogs for travel and vacations so we appreciated being allowed to bring them with us. All in all, a place you will love!

family vacation

Our family spent a week here and was the best trip to Lake Osoyoos in our 30 years of vacationing there. It is spacious and clean. Deb and Burke are very helpful and were a large part of out enjoyment of the week.The privacy afforded by the setting is just great. We can hardly wait to return again next year. Awesome!

This was our own private paradise! Relaxation is the key word to describe our vacation here. Everything the listing says is accurate, plus more. The photos shown are great, but being there was better! The main cottage is quaint with much character. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. The separate cottage is like a show home one would see in a magazine, 'rustic chic'. The property sprawls along the lake front which is well maintained. Being able to keep a boat and do water sports right from the private beach was a luxury! Bonus; there was little competition with other boaters in the area. There were plenty of chaise lounges to soak up the sun and read a book in addition to the endless options of things to do, such as bike ride, bocci, badminton, kayak or swim to the trampoline... An ideal setting for a large group or a peaceful getaway. Lots of space for dining al fresco. The kids (and adults) loved making S'mores at the fire pit. Truly an awesome spot! A 5 minute drive to Taber's for fruit or to Prince's for groceries (which is also a department store). Restaurants are close, (we liked Hometown Pizza) as are interesting little attractions & antique stores. We went to Blue Lake, not far, but you need to get a parking permit from Prince's or you could face getting fined. A beautiful lake, great for cliff jumping... you have to hike in about 10 mins. to get to the cliffs. Owners are great and very accommodating. This will be our summer tradition!

Truly an oasis! All of us including our children and grandchildren enjoyed the privacy and the wonderful open grassed area. We spent a huge amount of time watersking, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and using the kayaks and splash islands. The lake is much warmer and quiter than the Okanagan with fewer boats than in Kelowna. Stores, restaurants, etc. are less than 5 minutes away. Accommodation is superb with more than enough room for the 12 of us. We all hated to leave at the end of the week, with one of the grandkids asking why we couldn't tell the people who were arriving to come another time so we could stay longer. We have already booked for next year. Thanks for a wonderful vaction, Deborah and Burke!

Exceeds All Expectations!!

This place is fantastic for extended families. It has an awesome cabin with tons of character, that is fully stocked with everything you could think of and more. It is also on, what is probably the nicest piece of property on the lake. We love this place!

Private Romantic and Family Getaway

Wow!!! Stayed here with my family during the May long weekend, and came back here for a girls getaway in September, and both times I have been very impressed. The place is spotless!! The guest house could be on the cover of House and Home, very stylish and cozy not to mention the quiet ambiance on its deck of just pure relaxation. I like reading on the bed and looking up every once in a while to take in the view of the lake in front of me. The main house boasts a sound system and a perfect place for dancing the night away, not to mention the numerous beds available to house all the family members. Outside right next to the lake is a fire pit and chairs, perfect for those nights when you want to play your guitar favourites in front of the fire. The linens are clean and smell great, but having the lake and hugh surrounding lawn is what I love the best for our family to play crochet, baseball, (yes its big enough to play adult baseball) frisbee and other sports in and out of the water. I love waking up in the quiet morning to go for a kayak or run down to the local campground and park. We are planning on coming up every year to enjoy this wonderful place!!!

WOWZER!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this property!!!!Spacious, clean, comfortable, designer style decor .....honestly could not have asked for a better vacation....I just hope we can go again next year and maybe the year after that.....in fact I did not want to leave. It is super roomy so can definately fit large families. Owner super nice and welcoming to my many questions before we left.

WOW!

This vacation home will not disappoint you. From the minute you arrive its absolutely spectacular. Very private and a ton of land to roam around. From playing bocci to badminton and swimming in the lake, this place has it all. The accommodations are perfect and the photos online do not do it justice. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything a cook would need. The owners are fabulous people and a pleasure to work with. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation spot. Thanks for a great week, we had the best time!

Located in the Okanogan valley in Canada's only dessert ... nothing beats this amazing warm climate only 4 short hours from the coast.

Burke an I explored many different lakeside properties before we settled in on our wonderful private oasis.
We came across the property while out on the boat. The property was an estate sale that sat abandoned on the market for over ten years. We purchased this little diamond in the ruff knowing that we had our work set out for us but our vision have finally come to fruition...
