Copper Top Lake Cottage

This cottage is a great escape from the city showcasing the great diversity in South Dakotas wilderness. It is located on North Scatterwood Lake with over 1200 acres of Waterfowl production within 12 miles. It’s a great place to enjoy the outdoors enjoying a campfire while overlooking the beautiful lake. This property has 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds, and a open loft area where a blow-up mattress can be placed. Game cleaning area, perfect for pheasants, geese, ducks and fish.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure to dishes are done and put away -close all windows and lock all doors - to lock the main door you will need to hold the # button until you hear the door lock - Thank you !
If using for hunting please make sure everything is cleaned up otherwise there maybe additional cleaning fee charge. Thank you and enjoy
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No pets upstairs or on the furniture- if evidence of such ,an additional cleaning fee will be assessed
all dog waste must be picked up in yard - bags provided additional fee will be added if task not completed

We had a wonderful stay!! We truly enjoyed all the space and quietness of Scatterwood lake. The cabin provided just the right amenities and was a true base camp for deer hunting and us ladies were able to to make our annual lefsa for the holidays.

Nice quiet spot with plenty of games and lake toys available to entertain adults and kids. We particularly enjoyed going out on the canoe. We pulled in late at night, and it was a bit difficult to find so take a screen shot of the map before you get there.

Week long pheasant hunt

The property was great for our (5 adults) usage over a week of pheasant hunting. Tons of hunting access from 5 mins away to within an hour. The bird cleaning station was great for our use. The space was actually bigger than expected from the online pictures. Brandon, the host, was super responsive with all of our requests and helped make the stay great.
