Built in 1920 as a sharecropper's house, it has been lovingly brough back to life. A beautiful retreat from Current Times 1-bedroom house. Nestled in a peaceful setting, guests can unwind in the serene atmosphere, unique with antiques, decor and misc. items like a turn table with ample albums to listen to. The cozy bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the living room offers an additional space with a sofa bed for extra guests. Enjoy modern amenities like WiFi, heating, and AC during your stay. Fall in love with Blanco and enjoy the magic it has to offer.

We loved this place! The Hostess was fantastic, communicative, and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and happy. The home was spotless, and very comfortable. We were on the last three days of a trip from The panhandle to Big Bend to Fredericksburg, and Ethyls Place was the nicest place we stayed the whole trip. Quiet, but easy to get to, and Blanco is a wonderful town. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is it!

What an amazing home! It is beautiful and filled with so many fun pieces. It is super convenient to the Buggy Museum, lavender farm, downtown, etc. The host, Deb, is so thoughtful and wonderful to work with. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about Ethyl’s Place is so well thought out and vibrates with the loving time, energy and creativity that was put into restoring this valuable little piece of Blanco History. You will have a sweet special time at Ethyl’s Place!

We Love this place a long with the story behind ethyl place. My husband is 75 and I am 73 the only thing I can think of you mite have trouble getting in or out of the bath tub. So look the bathroom over before you book. That being said we are very active so no worries for us.
