Experience South Oceanside`s relaxing coastal vibe at our stylish beach home. Kick off your day with a fresh brewed coffee and breakfast at the local café just two blocks away. Then spend the day at the beach for endless fun in the sun. Witness stunning sunsets from our spacious patio before heading to a delicious dinner at one of the amazing restaurants within walking distance. Finally, spend your night in the private backyard unwinding in the hot tub. Your perfect beach getaway begins here.
The South O Seabreeze is a chic beach house with a clean and updated style that`s spacious enough for multiple families. The home is a single story that includes a fully stocked kitchen, a large bunk room for the kids with its own half bath, a master bedroom with a queen bed, an additional bedroom with two full beds, and another bathroom down the hall. There is also a large patio in the front with an enclosed hot-water outdoor shower and a private backyard with a hot tub, bbq, fire pit, and comfortable seating area. The home has a large smart TV in the living room and a TV and arcade games in the bunk room. In addition, we recently installed central AC and heat for greater comfort.
Our neighborhood is a quiet but convenient spot in the heart of South Oceanside. We are surrounded by nice and respectful neighbors and we ask that our guests show that same respect to them. There is plenty of street parking available right out front for the guests.
The South O Seabreeze is a quick walk from one of Oceanside`s favorites, Buccaneer Beach & Park. Buccaneer Beach is a popular beach destination for Oceanside locals and just on the other side of the street is Buccaneer Park, which has basketball courts, picnic tables, wide open grass, and a complete play structure for the kids. The home is also within walking distance of many excellent food options, cafes, and local shops.
Guests will have access to the whole house including the backyard and front patio/yard. Offered on site are boogie boards, a soft top surfboard, beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella, and beach towels. We also provide extra linens, kitchen appliances including a blender and coffee maker, a barbecue, washer and dryer, spa, and other basic necessities.
We can interact with our guests as much or as little as desired. Guests are encouraged to message us with any questions or concerns at anytime. We will be nearby and ready to provide maintenance or help to our guests (in person) if needed. We want our guests to have the best stay possible and we are willing to do what it takes to make that happen!
Our house is across the street from the train tracks. This train runs along the whole coast of San Diego`s North County. There is a station a mile and a half away from the house which provides convenient access to San Diego`s downtown area, various other beach towns, and even Los Angeles. Fortunately, Oceanside just added additional safety measures to all crossings, which in turn allowed the City to be designated as a `Quiet Zone.` This means that passing trains no longer use their horns and therefore train noise is very minimal.
1. We do allow pets for an upfront pet fee of $100. Two pets per pet fee. Please insure all pets are treated with flea meds before coming into the home. If your animal is not treated, the home can become infested with fleas as fleas are prevalent in the area. It is very expensive to rid the house of fleas and you may be charged to cover the cost.
2. Quiet hours after 10pm. Please be respectful of our neighbors. No music or excessive noise after 10pm.
3. Smoking is prohibited in the home, and on the property. If you smoke, that`s fine, but it must be done across the street so it does not bother neighbors.
4. If you are a young group (18-21), please inquire first. I allow young groups situationally but please understand I DO NOT allow underage drinking, parties, or rowdiness so if you can`t agree to this, my home is not a good fit for you.
5. Guests not listed on the original booking may not stay overnight without prior approval. Any additional person invited into the rental is the sole responsibility of the guest on the reservation.
6. The house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
7. Vehicles are to be parked on the street only. Please refer to the guidebook for important information about street sweepers.
8. No children without adult supervision are allowed in the hot tub. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our spa maintenance company drains, sanitizes, and refills and replenishes chemicals in hot tub 1-2x weekly; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening if cleaned the same day. Do not stand on the hot tub covers. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. When not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. PLEASE WASH OFF SAND BEFORE ENTERING THE HOT TUB AND WRINSE OFF COMPLETELY BEFORE EACH USE TO AVOID LOTIONS AND SOAPS FROM POLLUTING THE WATER.
9. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. **INCLUDING FLUSHABLE WIPES! No feminine products or baby wipes should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500 for scoping and cleaning.
10. DO NOT USE ANY LAUNDRY DETERGENT OTHER THAN THOSE LABELED HIGH EFFICIENCY (he). SHAKE OFF ALL CLOTHING AND TOWELS BEFORE WASHING THEM. IF SAND IS FOUND IN THE MACHINE YOU MAY BE CHARGED A FEE.
GUESTS COMING WITH PETS:
PET ADDENDUM
It is hereby agreed by and between Homeowner and Guest that homeowner will allow guest to have animals. Only animals that have been approved can enter the property and guest must pay pet fee at time of booking.
Guest hereby agrees to comply the following:
1. Guest to pay additional pet fee in the amount of $100 per stay.
2. All pets must comply with the following specifications
a. Rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations, including heartworm preventive is highly recommended.
b. Spayed/neutered recommended.
3. All pets must be leashed at all times upon leaving the property.
4. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse.
5. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.
6. All pets are to be treated with a flea and tick repellent. Fleas and ticks are rampant in this area because of the mild weather year round.
7. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be charged to the guest.
8. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors.
9. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out.
10. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises.
The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.
