Wanskuck, a neighbourhood in Providence, is home to this apartment. Providence Children's Museum and India Point Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Roger Williams Park Zoo and Lincoln Woods State Park. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Amica Mutual Pavilion or McCoy Stadium.
Place served our purpose as we were in town visiting our son who is in college. Kitchen could have used a few things (only 1 fork there), dish towels, coffee and a few more pots and pans. There was only one and a half rolls of toilet paper and the sheets on one bed appeared questionable.
We had a great experience staying here. The property management provided clear and detailed instructions on parking and building access, including helpful photos for added clarity. The space itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. While the stairs are narrow and winding, we had no issues navigating them. I would definitely stay here again!

So the checkin was very rough. The lock box would not open and worried that it was a scam at one point. Finally contacted 'management' to get different lock box code to get separate key. Then issues inside include almost no hot water, dirty bathroom curtain and walls, and exposed nail on bathroom threshhold.

Considering we did not spend much time at the apartment, it met our needs. However, we were a little apprehensive about the neighborhood. We were able to park in the lot behind the building. After going through the first locked door we were met with winding, narrow steps with no inside light. The light was obviously motion sensitive, but did not turn on until the first member of our party made it to the second floor. It then turned on and off as we proceeded to the third floor. Once inside the locked door to the actual apartment we were relieved that the inside did not match anything outside that door. It was nice, but simple. There is seriously only 2 bedrooms a kitchen and a bathroom. We were given 1 bath towel only per person. No washcloth or face towel. No dish towels, just a sponge and a roll of paper towels. This is a no frills location. So if all you are expecting is a clean place to sleep and shower you will be fine.

Quick trip to Providence
I stayed in this apartment with my daughter and two of her friends (ages 12 and 13) for my daughter's birthday trip to Providence. We came from NH and would be staying one night before heading on to Boston the next day. The property on the third floor was very warm for a spring day. There was the bare minimum for kitchen items. For example, there were 4 of us and only 3 forks. There were absolutely no condiments or other food prep items so cooking dinner and breakfast proved difficult. There was a Keurig coffee maker but no pods. No salt and pepper, etc. Also we were provided with one towel each, which was fine, but no hand towels or wash clothes so had to use the roll of paper towels for hand washing in both the bathroom and the kitchen. I reached out via messaging on the VRBO app to notify management that the smoke alarm in the kitchen/TV room needed a new battery and discovered that none of the other smoke detectors in the apartment had batteries in them which was a little unnerving. No one got back to me. Also, the check in information came to me at exactly the check in time. Even though I texted them to find out if they had received my ID photo and confirmation number that they had requested 48 hours prior to our stay. I would probably not recommend.
