Spacious 7-bedroom house across from University and close to Downtown Lock Haven
Stay comfortably in Lock Haven at this 7-bedroom house. Yes, seven separate rooms with a sunroom, living room, dining room, laundry and eat in kitchen. This charming property offers plenty of space for guests to relax. The sunroom is my personal favorite as it adds warmth from the sun on cold winter days. Enjoy free amenities like washer/dryer, fire pit, deck, coffee and a fully stocked pantry. It is also only a short walk to the river to see the sunset.

Host was a great communicator. Cozy place for a winter stay. Warm and comfortable. Well stocked pantry. Could use a little more attention to some maintenance details but other wise very nice.
Excellent communications from host, quick response and thorough. Home was perfect for size of group. Well-appointed with towels and toiletries. Great location with LHU.
Family-friendly; Pet-friendly, but several openings in back yard fence in which our dog could've escaped and other animals could enter. We were constantly on guard taking the dog out!. Overall house clean, but many ants in kitchen. We also dealt with a bat inside the house for most of our stay, which was extremely distressing. On the second night, it repeatedly swooped and dove at our kids on the third floor, forcing them to move to a bedroom on the second floor. The following night, the bat followed them there and began dive-bombing everyone again. It flew between floors nonstop until we were finally able to contain it in a small cove area on the second floor. None of the six of us got much sleep as a result. This was the first time we’ve ever experienced a bat inside a living space, and it appeared unusually aggressive. At one point, it was flying in circles in a bedroom and repeatedly diving at my boys’ bed, coming directly at their pillows. We were also very concerned for our small dog, who stays kenneled at night and when we are out, as the bat had unrestricted access to the living areas. Overall, we had a good time at this property and it was extremely convenient for our needs just that pesky bat did not allow us to restfully enjoy our stay!

When the guest contacted me at 1230 midnight, I answered and offered assistance to include someone to come first thing in the morning to take care of the bat. The guest refused and said they took care of it. This is obviously an uncommon issue that I was ready to solve in a timely manner. None of the other items were brought up , but it is a small yard fence with several hookups with a 50 ft cable of needed.
Host was super-responsive. Cleaners were new to the property (I think) and the beds were not ready for us. Sheets were clean and available, so it didn't affect us much. Once the record breaking heat subsided, the house was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the stay and the LLWS which was our reason for the trip.
A neat old house that was perfect for our stay while visiting our daughter at Lock Haven! Fit our family and her roommate’s family as well. Will definitely stay again if it’s available!
This property was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location for us! We were in town for a wrestling tournament at Lock Haven University and it was within walking distance.
One night stay. Perfect for our group. Small snafu with door code. Owner answered phone immediately and resolved. House had some games we were able to enjoy the night of arrival. Plenty of space. Would stay again in the future.

Oh, so glad you got to play the games! You were wonderful guests.
Super clean and close to university as we could walk there. We did ask for early check in and the host did agree. However, we were told that someone else had rented the night before. We couldnt check in early, which I understand. I just wish the host had reached out to us before we got there. Will stay again if we are in the area.
My visit was good.Pros: The house was spacious and what I expected. I was in for a 75th birthday party and needed a place to cook for the event. This is perfect for large families. Cons: the cleanliness needs some attention. I understand this is someone’s home and treat it like mine. The refrigerator was nasty with food particles and small spills throughout it. I had to clean it before I felt comfortable putting food in it. There was a recycle bin under a cabinet that was overflowing. The dishwasher was run by the previous guests but it was full of dishes that I had to put away to use it. One of the bedrooms trash can was full. I contacted the host and the response I received was this isn’t a hotel or resort it’s my home that is lived in. If this is a home you’re renting out such as a hotel/resort I do expect things to be cleaned and reset for my stay. I wasn’t trying to see how much dirt or dust I could find. I was informing the host to ensure whomever she has to reset for the next guest resets properly so people don’t feel uncomfortable when they arrive. If I’m expected to take out the trash when I check out I don’t expect to find 2 trash cans overflowing with trash after it’s been reset. I don’t expect to have to empty a dishwasher full of dishes to use it. I wasn’t trying to receive a discount for the issues but to inform the host whomever resets her place isn’t being thorough and maybe needs a checklist to ensure everything is complete.Nice place poor host response.

Its unfortunate my reply to this guest came off as negative. I certainly did bot mean it to be that way. I was trying to explain that we recycle in the house and unfortunately the city does not have trash or recycle pick up. We have to collect ourselves, unlike a resort, this is a house that is lived in. I relayed to the cleaner about the missed clean dishes, and I stand by that if you plan to cook on your trip, this is THE BEST stocked house to do so. The fridge is newer, the stove is new, I have all the pots, pans and bakeware as I cook regularly and this is my home that I stay in.
There is no better home to stay in, especially for the size and price, in the area
Our stay was awesome. It was a little warm upstairs. Luckily we didn't need the bedroom on the 3rd floor as it would have been quite warm.
The shower downstairs was quite small. One of our relatives is "football" large and he didn't think he would fit in it. But all in all it was a great stay!!! Thanks. We will keep it in mind to rent again if we have a large group going!!! Janet
We arrived at the property as planned to find no electric on the second and third floors, with the electric spotty on the first floor. This was communicated to the property manager. She sent an electrician, who worked on the problem for several hours. He could not figure out the problem, thus he could not fix the problem. We had to find other accommodations. There six adults and two children ages 11 and 12. Everyone was very very disappointed.

Unfortunately calamities happen. The electric problem was fixed and the guest received a full refund. This issue should not repeat.
