Loved our stay at the property in July! The view was amazing and we used the hot tub multiple times. The area was so quiet but just a quick ride to downtown Selfoss for groceries or restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property. Well appointed with everything you need. Nespresso makers. Good sized living area.Beautiful views.Got very lucky seeing the aurora also Great communication with hosts.No laundry thats the only thing id say could be added.

Beautiful home with an even more beautiful view. The hot tub was a huge plus, and the area was quiet with nature all around. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances, the living room was comfy and the bedrooms were cozy. One was a bit cozier than the other two, but it wasn’t a problem for the three nights we spent at this great property. Very communicative host too! We were able to check-in and out on our own without any issues. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay in this gem of a place, perfectly located outside of the golden circle. We were able to easily navigate day trips to tons of places we wanted to see. The host was great and our kids loved it! Thank you for a very memorable trip.

We were two senior couples and this was absolutely perfect for us. Central to all that we wanted to see and such a private perfect retreat to come home top each day. The hot tub was wonderful and spacious for the four of us.The lovely kitchen has everything one might need—I even baked bread—and all the usual things one might use like oil and vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and flour. We shopped at the Bonus stores in nearby Selfoss and Hverdagerdi - the latter on our way to the house from the airport as Emma recommended. We also highly recommend their fresh arctic char grilled on tinfoil on the BBQ so good we had it three nights out of seven. Don’t forget a lemon!One of our party ran each day down to the lake, along the shore, back up a drive to a small road and home - the perfect route with the birds serenading. There were swans on the lake every morning.Bathrobes and cosy comforters—you’ll sleep so well!

We stayed at many homes on our trip with family of 6.By far this was our favorite home.We felt at home. Exceptionally stocked and equipped. Great family game activities. Communication was instant and easy understood. If returning fir a visit will stay here.

Great spot just off the Golden Circle

This house was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room for everyone. Great amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, enough towels for everyone and a hot tub! We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Stay

This was our 4th trip to Iceland but the first with our two girls. Our host was fantastic and the accommodations were perfect. The view is one of a kind and breathtaking. A great location that is central to explore much of southern Iceland. Would highly recommend :)

We had a great time!

This cabin was super cozy and was perfect for our group of six. The view was gorgeous and we loved how secluded the location felt. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, and we even got to see the northern lights from the deck! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and comfortable home immensely. It is in a beautiful, peaceful setting yet only 15- 20 minutes to stores and restaurants in Selfoss or Hveragardi. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Check in was very simple and the property wasn't hard to find at all. It was our favorite place we stayed during our time in Iceland.

Amazing Stay

This was an amazing place to stay! We loved all the little extras like robes for the hot tub, Nespresso machine, and hot chocolate. The place felt so cozy and had a country cottage feel. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights for about 2 hours one of our nights. We highly recommended this property, you won’t be disappointed!

Terrific location!

Wonderful well equipped lake house. Fantastic views. When visiting Iceland there is a lot of driving involved and this location is spot on for getting around. Would definitely book again.

Fab family getaway

Such a great base for exploring Iceland - we went in a different direction every day. Having Selfoss so close was very handy, the food hall and ice cream parlour are worth a visit. Coming back to the cosy, well equipped lodge and the hot tub was bliss after a long (and cold!) day of exploring.
