Surprisingly me and the family were thoroughly impressed with the property. Clean, comfortable, spacious and right outside downtown. I recommend usage of this property and if am bck in the area would definitely rent again.
The property was very conveniently located to the activities for our stay! Plenty of room for our group and absolutely no issues whatsoever! Great house!
Our family had an amazing Christmas in this beautiful house. The house was spacious, nicely appointed, and located conveniently near downtown. The host was very welcoming and accommodating, making for a very nice time spent!
We checked in only to find the property was not cleaned properly, the back porch was under construction- and a mess- leaving no outdoor seating/ yard as listed, bathroom linens were clean but stained... not at all what we expected so we left and stayed at hotel instead (no offer of any kind of refund or concession from the owner either, just to send another cleaning crew out - which would not have helped with out outdoor construction mess). The house overall is decent for the area, but to find hair in your bathtub and toothpaste spray on your mirrors, a dirty kitchen floor and a full dishwasher - just underwhelming and disappointing. Would not recommend.
We were able to stay with family coming from 3 different states for a family wedding. It was very comfortable and accommodating with an open floorplan and spaces to gather for one on one coversations too. Great location....some of us took advantage of restaurants and breweries within walking distance. The runners in the family were able to map out a great running route that included the local trail.
Great location for attending family events at venue in tobacco warehouse. Home was clean and comfortable. Obvious the cleaners enter through the back door because the front porch did not match the cleanliness of the rest of the house.
I rented this house with two others for a writing retreat and the size and number of bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect for our needs. The interior of the house feels very refined. The master bedroom in particular felt luxurious and well appointed. The bathrooms were all clearly renovated and in good shape. The showers all had good water pressure. The fact that there were almost as many bathrooms as bedrooms was also a big plus for us and something I rarely find in house rentals. The kitchen was large and well appointed. Though we did not cook, it looked like we could have given all of the available equipment. The kitchen island seating was some of the most comfortable I have seen and was even able to work there one morning. The dining table was also large and a convenient place for us to work. The living room was also large and comfortable. Though there were only three of us, the living room could have easily sat 6-8. Finally, the outdoor space was perfect for our little party. It might be tight with more people and it does face an abandoned lot. I would highly recommend that people who stay here rent a car to get around as most of the main shopping/dining is best accessed by car.
I enjoyed my stay in Duran on N Elizabeth. I was unfamiliar with the area and did get turned around a bit not realizing the home is on the main road. That said once you step inside it's a different experience. The home is lovely and nicely decorated. We meet every year connecting our family that's spread out between Maryland, GA And the Carolinas. The home has plenty of grocery stores nearby to shop for your stay. The area was generally quiet minus the street noise which was not a negative just unexpected. There is no grill out back but I was able to confirm that with the host prior to the stay so the communication was appreciated. My parents are older and have knee issues so a full bathroom and bedroom downstairs was perfect and everything they needed. The master is HUGE with 4 closets his and her sinks in the master bath with high back tub and walk-in shower. Plenty of clean sheets and towels with a working washer and dryer upstairs. We had some issues getting into the wifi

The area was sketchy. We had homeless people knocking at our door asking for money. Front was adjacent to a busy road. Upstairs dryer was not connected and made the laundry room dangerous. Pantry was dirty.
