The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.



Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:



• A large heated swimming pool

• Three brand-new hot tubs

• A brand-new sauna

• All new loungers and daybeds

• Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating

• A children’s playground

• A full tennis and play court



Everything on the deck will be new, beautifully designed, and ideal for families, couples, and longer stays.

The recreation deck and its amenities are not accessible prior to May 18, 2026. Some daytime construction activity may be present. Rates have already been adjusted accordingly.

The unit was good, and there were no cleaning products available for clean the toilet. Saw a few cockroaches, and except for the 2 unexpected evacuations, and the amazing view, everything was good.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced, including the lack of cleaning supplies, the pest sighting, and the unexpected evacuations. We truly wish these concerns had been mentioned during your stay so we could have addressed them right away for your comfort. For future reference, our housekeeping team places basic cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, though we’re sorry if they weren’t easy to find this time. We also regret the inconveniences caused by both the roaches and the unexpected evacuations. Please know that we do take preventative pest control measures to eliminate such issues. If your concern relates to the false fire alarms, please know that those are managed by the building management and unfortunately outside of our direct control. We appreciate your understanding and are grateful you chose to stay with us.
