Your cozy getaway awaits in Mariaville at this adorable farmhouse. This charming retreat features 1 bedroom with a full bed, heating, AC, WiFi, a Keurig, and a hair dryer. The soothing ambiance of this property is perfect for guests looking to unwind and relax. We hope you enjoy what the homestead has to offer. Constructed in 1865 by the owner's great-great-grandfather, the home is full of antiques and memorabilia from bygone years.

The location is rural, quiet, and only about an hour's drive from scenic Acadia National Park. The quaint shops of Bar Harbor will keep you busy and lead the way to fine dining at one of many award-winning restaurants in the area.

Every season has its beauty, but leaf-peepers will especially enjoy autumn. Hunters should keep us in mind as well.

Nancy and Nate are very nice. The farmhouse is a quaint and comfortable antique home with decorations that match the rustic beauty of the house. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The shower has great pressure. It’s really rural and better to arrive in the daytime since the roads can be a directional challenge in the dark. There’s no breakfast, but there is a coffee pot with coffee in the room. There’s a kitchen to use for a fee. It’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Lovely old farmhouse

This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive.

Charming Farmhouse Terrible! Request refund.

These people were not ready to receive guests. Room was small, stuffy, and crowded with nick-knacks. No shelf space at all. There was no desk nor space to open luggage. The air conditioning barely worked. There was a profound lack of privacy. The host's study was adjacent to our room and the host was in the room when we went to bed and when we got up the next day. Creepy! We checked out early after one night. Please refund two nights.
