Extremely clean and organized. Had everything we needed, including all kitchen supplies, bowls, dishes, appliances, to make our Thanksgiving dinner. We had such a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave the cabin every day we were there. It felt like home.
The Little Bear house was extremely comfortable and well appointed and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't provided. The weather during our stay wasn't the best for enjoying the lovely deck but the bird (and deer) activity was easily watched and enjoyed from inside. We look forward to another stay!
My family stayed here for a hunting trip. The moment we walk in we felt at home. The cabins location is in a nice location very quiet. It was a perfect location for our hunting trip. The kitchen was well stocked and with a instant pot at that, perfect for throwing a good quick meal togeather with the pressure cooker setting after a morning of hunting. If you just cant live without your internet dont worry the wifi here is great no problems at all. The owner was very good with communication. We plan on a return to this wonderful home.

Thank you Vicki! I'm glad you loved our place as much as we do. I hope your hunting trip was successful.
Beautiful property but in need of some extra cleaning
The property was beautiful! There was a small fenced in area in the back for dogs, which wasn’t pictured but was nice. When we arrived there was really old smelly urine in the master bathroom toilet, condiments left in the fridge, old food in the pantry, floors were dirty, cobwebs in several areas of the cabin and the house was in need of cleaning. The bedrooms had clothes, shoes, used contact lense and various items that were left from previous guests. It was quiet and peaceful, but there was 2 men that came knocking that started talking to us about religion and invite us to check out their religion by passing out cards for their website. Although the property was beautiful I only rated it with an overall rating of 3 stars because of the urine, old food and dirtiness of the cabin. With better housekeeping and maybe a no trespassing sign for unwanted guests I would have rated the property with 5 stars.

I'm so sorry you found our home in this condition. We are very careful to make sure the home is in top condition when renters arrive. We had some workers inside right before your stay and they assured me they cleaned up after themselves. The condiments left in the refrigerator & pantry are a courtesy to our guests so they don't have to go purchase them & they are NOT old. The only clothes or shoes in the home are in the owners closet & nothing was left by the last renter. The owners closet should have been locked. We can't control people coming & knocking on the door...it's not in an area where that happens much.
