About this property

The Mount Pleasant House: Slopeside 6-bedroom Farmhouse in Edinboro

This home, constructed in the early 1900’s, was the original farmhouse to this farm property. When the ski area opened in 1970, the dairy barn was converted to the existing lodge and the house was sold. The farmhouse was purchased by Mount Pleasant in 2023.

The Mount Pleasant House has 6 bedrooms. Between the six bedrooms, the House comfortably sleeps 10 people. All bedrooms are located upstairs.

Three bedrooms have Queen beds and two have twins. One has a trundle bed, sleeping two.

There are several sofa beds as well. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was elegant but cozy. The house was very well supplied with needed kitchen items, games, books and cozy blankets. The beds were very comfortable! Every room had a little touch of decoration for the holiday. Truly appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host!

Unique layout, eclectic furnishings. No A/C but it stayed cool enough on an 80 degree day. Thirsty Thursday was an unexpected busy night in the driveway, but no problems. Very cordial and responsive host.

The house was beautiful and very clean. You can tell the owners take great care of it. It had everything we needed during our stay-linens, dishes, laundry etc and the beds were very comfortable. We rented during the fall so we did not have an opportunity to use the ski slopes. The house sits right at the bottom of the ski lift. There was plenty of parking.
