The place was great. Bed was comfortable and the big moniterwas a welcome amenity. Nice walk to the great restaurants on California Ave. Plenty of parking. The only complaint is you do need to run the hot water a while for it to get hot.
Very close to Stanford, a great efficiency studio with the basic amenities and a spare monitor which made working online a breeze. Irene is a pleasure to work with as a host.
Beautiful quiet property. Well kept. Everything you need. Very safe neighborhood.

Great location to visit family at Stanford. I used the place to sleep and eat breakfast. Owner responded quickly with answers to my questions. Very friendly:)
Host was wonderful! Attentive and kind. And GREAT BED AND PILLOWS and towels. Hot water took a very long time both in sink and shower. Room temperature was quite chilly even with good heating - the unit never gets direct sun and has little or no insulation. It’s clean and functional- but not cozy. Good surface desk as place to work on laptop. No place to sit and have breakfast, Not cozy. Still host is outstanding
I enjoy to see my guests walking around in the yard with a cup of coffee in the morning. Traveling around the world for many years myself, I do appreciate while I am traveling, the place gives me a sense of home, so I would like to offer that to my guests as well.
Why they chose this property
Moments away from Steve jobs’ old residence, short and pleasent walk to cafe, restaurants and groceries. It’s a gorgeous neighborhood, quiet and elegant, very safe and refreshing to jog around!
What makes this property unique
It's quiet during the night, you could enjoy your restful evening without any interrupt. Friendly house cats enjoy the backyard a lot, please feel free to pet them ( star and snow). Host stays in the main house, if you need assistance, I am one text away.
