The rain did not dampen the mood. We had a nice weekend.

Cute place, busy area

The cottage is a quaint little place. It is directly off the highway and backs on to several trailer parks. The property is pretty busy with all the traffic coming to the parks and other cottages off the highway. Overall, it was a good stay. There is a massive sandbar off the beach which is great for kids and pets to swim in. The restaurant/corner stores has treats and essentials. Connie and Chris were super helpful. It was nice to have access to canoes and kayaks - they come with the cottage rental.

Immersed into nature

Super friendly owner and great service. Fantastic location near to dark sky preserves and nice hiking and paddling routes. Family friendly and everything you need in the restaurant/grocery store next door. Great bonfire and bbq area. Just lovely place to stay!
