This home-away-from-home has a spectacular beach and ocean view from both the living area and the master bedroom in a corner unit on the 5th floor of Surfmaster North. The recent, tasteful remodeling highlights a comfortable living/dining area with tile floors, comfortable sofa, love seat, and chairs, televisions in the living area and all three bedrooms, and dining seating for 6 with 4 bar stools at the island.

Sliding glass doors lead to a balcony filled with chairs for relaxing. Here on the balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful view with only the sound of the waves.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances: refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and garbage disposal and is also stocked with small appliances. You will find a toaster oven, coffee maker, Keruig, microwave oven, blender, electric mixer, dishes, cooking and baking dishes, a spacious cooking area, and serving dishes.

The primary bedroom features a comfortable, king-sized bed with dresser, tiled floor, double closet, television, and full bath with tiled floor. The second bedroom contains a queen bed, tiled floor, dresser, double closet, television, and full bath with tiled floor. The third bedroom features a queen bed, tiled floor, dresser, television, and access to a full bath.

A stacked washer and dryer unit is located in the unit..

During your stay, you will have access to two different gated swimming pools and a hot tub. The beach is just steps away from both pools. You'll want to bring beach chairs to use as you enjoy the sand, sun and water.

Take advantage of the reserved, covered parking for two vehicles.

Greatest family vacation ever!

Been coming here for several years. We call it our home away from home. It has everything we need to cook, and fully stocked with all the little things like home that u might need. My family love this place. Sure gonna miss it. The best vacation spot we’ve ever had.

Great Beach Stay

Just wrapped up a week here with our family and had a wonderful stay. Communication prior to and after check in with Kathy was awesome. Condo was clean, easy to access and really had a million dollar view. Facilities around the condo were great and coming and going was very easy. I'd recommend Kathy's condo for anyone looking for a great beach vacation in Surfside.

Spectacular Sunrises!

Kathy did a wonderful job with the furnishings and provided a fantastic book with lots of information about the property and the area. The view from the large balcony was incredible with spectacular sunrises! We went out every morning with our coffee and danishes to watch the show. The sounds of the surf provided a natural calming and peace that was much needed.Thank you, Kathy!

Beautiful condo

Love the property and location! Everything was great. Only minor complaint was the spotty wi-fi. Those with teenagers might want to bring a jetpack, just in case.

Another May at the beach.

This is our 3rd year staying at Kathy’s condo. We always feel immediately at home. Everything you need is there. The condo is very quiet and the end unit balcony is huge. Mornings spent with coffee and seeing dolphins are my favorite. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable and private. Great for couples or family. I highly recommend this condo for your stay.

Condo was just like the last time we stayed only sadly no bath linen were provided this time. Views from the balcony were beautiful as always, love the larger kitchen and was able to make all our meals with ease.

Condo is wonderful! View is awesome! Master bedroom is a nice size and when you open the blinds you get to see the ocean. You also have a awesome view of the ocean from the living room.Surfmaster 2 is located in a great area. We feel very safe when we are there. We had a wonderful experience!

Top notch oceanfront condo

This condo with an end unit balcony has privacy with an amazing view. Everything you need is there. It feels like being a guest in someone’s home. We will keep returning each year. Highly recommend !

Relaxing Birthday Escape

My wife and I enjoyed an awesome week celebrating my birthday in late March 2021. There was more than enough space for us plus a few family members (2 adults and a teenager), who joined us for a few nights. Kathy is a gracious host and her condo checks all the boxes - view, cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen and on and on. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Ocean Paradise

We stayed at this condo for a week to enjoy spending time with family members. Our Condo became the favorite evening spot since we had plenty of room for everyone, a great view and no stairs to climb. The owner has done a great job renovating this to maximize comfort, ease of movement around furniture, and beautiful decor. The owner checked on us on the day we arrived, the day after, and was very responsive if we had questions. I give this vacation condo 5 stars!

Simply the Best!

This condo has everything you could possibly want in your vacation accommodations. The priceless ocean view, spacious living area, kitchen that would please any cook, attractive and comfy bedrooms, and great bathrooms with wonderful showers made our family trip a pleasure. The hosts have thought of just about everything. There are plenty of games, books, current magazines, cozy throws for chilly evenings watching the sunset from the porch, and power strips everywhere so no one ever had to search for an outlet to charge a phone or laptop. There were clear instructions for arrival and operating the TV remote, and lots of info about restaurants and activities in the area. Kathy was extremely helpful and easy to reach when we had questions. We felt right at home n this lovely property. We will be back!

Beautiful Condo, poor decision by Owner

As everyone else describes, the condo is beautiful and has been nicely updated. The deck is one of the nicest we have ever had. Our problem started after we returned home, when we were notified by the owner that she was keeping a portion of our deposit. When we arrived, there was food (mostly condiments and similar) in the refrigerator. Since our departure instructions (provided by same owner) clearly state to 'remove all food from refrigerator', we assumed that this had been missed by the cleaning agency. Upon returning from our trip to buy groceries for the week, we made the decision to throw away those items that had been left; we did not want to confuse what we had purchased/brought with us, with what had been left. Who knew how long those items had been in the frig, or what someone could have done to contaminate them? We never thought another thing about it the rest of the week. Upon our check-out, we followed the instructions to clean out all food. After we arrived home, we received an email from the owner asking why we threw her food away, and telling us that she would be deducting some money from our deposit. She said she had never had anyone to do this before. We told her we had never stayed anywhere that left food in the frig. Anyway, to sum up our review, we enjoyed the condo, beach, and the views, but we are not happy that she chose to keep a portion of our deposit.

We love to make the trip from Winston-Salem to Garden City Beach, but can't always get there as often as we would like. Since we can't enjoy the condo full time, we would like to share it with you so that you, too, can take a relaxing break from every-day life.

Why they chose this property

Our family has vacationed in Garden City for the past 50 years. The beach holds many fond memories; we swam, built sand castles, ate seafood, walked for miles, and now bring grandchildren to the beach to make even more memories.

When we had an opportunity to purchase this property at the site of so much fun over the years, we were delighted. We think you'll be enchanted too as you make your own memories with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

Our youngest grandson's first trip to the condo was at age 3. After a day on the beach, we came upstairs to shower and nap. Our grandson wasn't so sure that coming inside was the best plan! We explained that we were going up to our new condo and that it was beautiful - a great place to play.

Once upstairs, he walked around, looked out the sliding glass doors, and said, 'Nana! I feel like I'm in a boat right out in the water!'

We think you'll feel that same enchantment. Enjoy the balcony, the pool, and the beach. Take a refreshing 1-mile walk to the Garden City Pier or a 1 1/2 mile walk to the Surfside Pier.

After a day in the sun, try the wonderful area restaurants, cook your own seafood in the well-appointed kitchen, check out the live entertainment nearby, shop at the outlets, or just settle in for a good movie. Relaxation guaranteed!
