This is a really beautiful cozy house. We wanted to go to Oatman and it was a great place to stay for that. Our dogs were happy there and we would come again.

Check-in was great.Loved the chalkboard filled with history of the Mercantile Post Office, places to eat and things to see. Loved the added touches that coincided with the history of the Mercantile\Post Office. Communication was excellentEnjoyed seeing the amount of trains that went by.If you are looking to explore Route 66 whether you’re going to open Kingman or Seligman this is in the middle of all of that. It is super quiet, great place to take a walk along the tracks and if you’re adventurous, you can run around the neighborhood. Also loved the fact that Lacey provided us with some great input on Dan. Don’t forget to get the carrot cake at Lilo’s West.

Beautiful historic property! Our favorite vacation stay to date. Host communicated quickly. Highly recommended. There is an active train track across the street - our kids LOVED it (you’d think we don’t live by a train track). Perfect place! If you chase the sun like me, the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking.

Turning rental properties into special, welcoming homes like this one on Route 66 is a great way to create a sustainable retirement plan while sharing unique spaces with travelers, this is my passion and I’m achieving it one old building at a time.

Why they chose this property

The sunsets and mountain views must be a perfect way to cap off the day for anyone staying.

What makes this property unique

Immerse yourself in the rich history of Yucca with a stay in this unique property, once the original mercantile and post office of the town. Travelers would come by rail to gather supplies at this historic site, which later became the heart of the community as both a store and post office. The charm doesn’t end there—the neighboring building, once a lively bar, later transformed into a mission, adding to the story of this remarkable area. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this location offers a one-of-a-kind experience blending history and natural beauty.
