Host was great in communicating right after I booked. Cozy space was perfect for me and my wife. Wifi worked great and bed was comfortable. Downtown square had some good local options. Make sure to hit Fireside Bakes and Brews for your morning coffee. Later in the day we had pizza/beers at McMillians. Definitely recommend this spot if staying in Fayette!

So we decided to leave a bigger lounge area which we hope people use more as the bathroom is usable but not used as often. Does that make sense? Thank you, again! Carter

We stayed for one night while home for Christmas and Mom’s house was too full. Excellent option. Small, clean, easy to get too, good parking. Great spot to stay for a visit to Fayette or CMU.

Fantastic place!

I stayed for the weekend to attend the CMU graduation ceremony for my granddaughter. The location was more than perfect. I could walk to the campus and restaurants on the main street. The local market was a few blocks away for those that preferred to make their own meals. Carter was a great host with excellent communication for any questions. The great location also allowed me to visit Stark Caverns and Warm Springs Ranch to see the famous Clydesdales! This is a perfect stay for anyone visiting their college student this coming year. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, historic property

My friend and I spent 1 nite in this lovely caretakers cottage in Fayette Mo. We were in town for a meeting and the location was very conveinent. The next morning we took a stroll to a local coffee shop and admired all the wonderful, historic homes. The king sized bed was comfy and plenty of clean, fresh towels. I prepared a nice charcuterie upon our arrival and the kitchen did not disappoint. Full sized, new refrigerator was great! Off street parking was a bonus. Excellent communication with the host.

The shower was not very clean, and there were spiders on webs in the corners that had to be cleared out. However, the owner was very attentive. An issue came in the bathroom that was out of his control, and he sent the handyman to see us immediately. When it was apparent that the issue could not be fixed during the night of our stay, another bathroom was made available for our use.The kitchen was fully ready for cooking, and the bed was clean and comfortable.
