Farm tipi with Sauna and secret solar garden

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Come join us on our small farm where you will enjoy luxury glamping at its very best. Take it easy relaxing in the hammock of our solar secret garden, recharge with a bubble bath and a stint in our infrared sauna; or hang out at either of our two fire pits listening to my retro vinyl collection. Farm fresh breakfast, private yoga or photography sessions with our 1951 Ford truck available upon request.

Melissa was very friendly and helpful with the whole process. A true kindred spirit. We were bringing the kid back up to college and really just needed a cool place to relax and take it easy. We truly enjoyed the character of the teepee and the laid back atmosphere of the whole place. The simple pleasure of a bath in the clawfoot was greater than the sum of it's parts. Grateful to have met the family and had the quiet time we did. Will return.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Melissa is so nice & welcoming!! She made us breakfast on one of our mornings, EVERYONE should get the chance to try her mean egg sandwich! It was delicious!! Every part of our stay was magical, from the time we arrived to the time we left, so many beautiful sights. We were lucky enough to see the locust trees in full bloom too!! The only downside was not having more time! We will be back!!

Our stay was everything and more! This neat teepee was a treat to stay in for my 3 children and myself. I worried about the weather, but Melissa took all precautions before our arrival and all I needed to do was enjoy the stay. My children and I loved our trip to Denton and this is definitely on the list for returns. I’m not a spontaneous traveler, yet this felt so cozy and comfortable for my little family. Totally worth checking out with a family or couples trip.

What an awesome experience! We stayed 2 nights and chose to have Melissa make us a scrumptious breakfast one morning. She is an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed and beyond. The bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to get out of it. Loved the chickens and the playful wild bunnies and song birds everywhere. So relaxing and comfortable. Private and close to everything. Loved the clawfoot tub and epsom bath salts. We will be back!

Felt like we were in the woods even though we were minutes from everything in denton and a short car ride from most of the DFW area. Host was fabulous and accommodating. Try her quiche Lorraine!

The property is beautiful, location was perfect for visiting our daughter at UNT and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed family time and s’mores around the fire pit. Melissa makes a mean breakfast sandwich that was the bomb! She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

We loved our time at the teepee! Being greeted by the fluffiest, cutest chickens every morning was such a delightful touch. The atmosphere felt peaceful and enchanting. It was my bday and i wanted to stay in a teepee. Saw the listing and said it was unavailable for my dates. they were not in state but still reached out to let me know i could absolutely stay. She made my bday happen. My daughter and i did not want to leave. Melissa was the hostess with the mostess even when she wasnt there. For sure staying again!! want to leave. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Wow, what an incredible weekend and Melissa is such a marvelous hostess! Her property is near and convenient to many areas in Denton. I was visiting my son for Family Weekend at UNT and it was very easy to get to the campus.When you arrive, you will enter through the secret garden. It is so magical, and then you are transported to your own secluded, private tee-pee. The tee-pee is quite spacious and the beds are very cozy. I was afraid that I might get too hot, considering the time of year I visited, but with the fans that were provided, I was quite comfortable. The she-shed (bathroom) had an A/C and it was refreshing to take a bath and relax in a spa like environment.Melissa can even do a photo shoot with the vintage pickup truck parked on the property, or prepare a scrumptious breakfast. The two menu items to choose from are the Mean Green breakfast sandwich or her Quiche Lorraine, both are served with fruit, orange juice and coffee or tea. I had the pleasure of having both since I stayed the whole weekend. They were just fabulous! I highly recommend staying and enjoying a very unique experience, whether your by yourself, glamping with the girls, or wanting to something outdoorsy with the family. Melissa is very responsive should you have any questions or concerns. I've already booked another stay and I can't wait to recharge and reset once again!

This Tipi and secret garden was a great way for the wife and I to unplug and enjoy nature in the middle of the city on our anniversary trip. What a cool little hideaway! The host was a joy and wonderful to chat with, and you have to try the quiche lorraine! We will definitely be back.
