Run down but beautiful

Enjoyed my visit but wanted contact person to be owners. Contact person was a lovely woman who gave us good advice about nearby restaurants but did not know the property that well. As a result was unable to help with bugs that appeared on the first night. Also there was no extra toilet paper and we ran out before we left the property. The bathroom rugs were dirty. The air conditioner in the bedroom drips onto the nice dresser and was unable to discuss this with property owners. The property was very interesting and it is hopeful that they will be able to continue to restore it as it must have been quite something when it was built. Unfortunately the restoration that is has been done is replacing architectural features that are part of what makes this such an interesting structure. However, it can't be helped. The windows are not replaceable without getting each one specially made, which would be exorbitant. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much.

Thank you very much for your overall comments and review Marijke. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that your experience was not 100 percent positive this trip. But we promise that your concerns are taken and we are and will be doing everything possible to improve the stay of our guest. The matter withe the AC is being taken care of, and as for the problem with the insect we try very hard to control it because it is the tropics. We also tried to reach out to you via email and did not received any response as yet.
