This listing is for our Beachfront Apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in Haudimar Beach Apartments at Jobos Beach, Isabela. This Apartment is a corner unit on the first floor that offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and garden (as shown in the listing photos). This apartment stands out from others because of its privileged waterfront location. The apartment accommodates up to 7 guests comfortably.
The Space:
The condominium has a swimming pool, basketball court, and direct access to the beach. Enjoy a wonderful stay in our beloved Isabela, where the people are friendly, the beaches are crystal clear, and the food is exquisite. Families will be able to enjoy the beautiful nature of the northwest area of the Island. In the beach area, you will find the bicycle path where you ride a bicycle or rent an electric scooter and cruise along the different beaches. And also, nearby, there is horseback riding by the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, surf lessons, and other fun activities under the sun. Also, in the next town, Aguadilla, you will find “Las Cascadas Water Park.” In San Sebastian, you will enjoy“Gozalandia Waterfalls.” For nighttime fun, there are multiple bars and restaurants. Surfers can find beaches with diverse levels of difficulty: Jobos, Middles, Secret Spot, Wilderness, and Surfers Beach, among others.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the North West part of Puerto Rico. This area have little traffic, it is quiet and safe. The residents of this area speak Spanish and most also speak English. There are restaurants and bars on a walking distance to property. For anything else we recommend a rental car. This is a small Island and it is easy to get around.
Getting Around:
There is no public transportation. Driving around is easy, all places of interest are marked on the GPS.

Beachfront Living & Natural Conditions
Staying by the ocean is a unique and beautiful experience, but it differs from city or countryside living. Our property is located on Puerto Rico’s northwest coast, where steady ocean breezes carry fine salt and sand inland.
Due to these natural coastal conditions, guests may notice salt residue, light rust on metal surfaces, fans, or air conditioning units, minor stains on windows, sticky or slightly slippery floors due to humidity, and other environmental effects despite regular professional cleaning.
We perform a thorough cleaning and inspection after every checkout. However, these conditions are a normal part of authentic beachfront living and may vary based on weather and the apartment’s location within the complex. These natural conditions do not qualify for refunds, credits, or discounts.
Local Beaches & Ocean Conditions
Puerto Rico offers diverse beach environments that change daily based on weather and swell conditions.
• North and East coasts are generally wavier
• South and West coasts are usually calmer
The beach directly in front of the complex is not suitable for swimming. During calm conditions, a shallow tide pool may form between the reef and shore.
Nearby beaches include:
• Jobos Beach – ⅔ mile east (walkable, sandy, and lively)
• Shacks Beach – 1.5 miles west (ideal for snorkeling)
• Montones and Teodoro Beaches – about 5 minutes by car (calmer waters)
• Crash Boat Beach (Aguadilla) – about 20 minutes by car
Ocean conditions vary and can change quickly. Guests are responsible for checking surf conditions and swimming at their own risk. Beach and ocean conditions do not qualify for refunds or discounts.
Bugs, Wildlife & Tropical Environment
Puerto Rico’s tropical climate naturally supports insects and wildlife, particularly in beachfront and outdoor areas. Our apartments are professionally treated for pests on a monthly basis; however, occasional sightings of ants, mosquitoes, small insects, or outdoor creatures are normal—especially after rain and during evening hours.
Flying insects are naturally attracted to light after rainfall. To help minimize their presence, please keep doors and windows closed and limit bright lighting inside and outside the unit. Despite these precautions, insects may occasionally enter the apartment.
Guests may also encounter iguanas, stray cats or dogs, or small rodents outdoors. These animals are generally harmless. Please do not feed or approach them.
If you have a strong sensitivity or phobia toward insects or wildlife, we kindly recommend selecting accommodations outside of tropical or beachfront areas.
Encounters with insects or wildlife are natural and do not qualify for refunds, credits, or discounts.
Storms, Rain & Hurricane Season
Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30. Rain showers, humidity, and changing weather conditions are common year-round in tropical destinations.
Weather-related conditions, including rain, storms, tropical systems, high winds, or related inconveniences, are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds or discounts.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip against unforeseen weather events.
In the rare case that essential utilities (power or water) are interrupted for more than 24 consecutive hours due to major weather-related events, a 25% nightly-rate discount will be applied, prorated based on the duration of the outage.
No refunds or discounts are provided for internet outages.
Travel Disruptions & Flight Cancellations
Airline delays, cancellations, missed connections, or transportation issues are beyond our control. We do not issue refunds or discounts for reservations impacted by travel disruptions of any kind.
Please review our cancellation policy before booking and consider purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip.
Utilities
Electricity and water services in Puerto Rico are generally reliable but may occasionally experience brief interruptions.
If a disruption of power or water lasts more than 24 consecutive hours, a 25% nightly-rate discount will be applied to the affected nights, prorated by the hours without service.
Internet service speed and reliability may vary. No refunds or discounts are offered for connectivity issues.
Swimming Pool, Beach Access & Common Areas
The swimming pool and common areas are managed by the condominium administration. While the pool is generally open, it may close temporarily due to maintenance, safety concerns, weather conditions, or administrative decisions.
Beach access is available through the wooden bridge located in the center of the complex.
Temporary closures, restricted access, rule enforcement, or any pool-related issues do not qualify for refunds or discounts.
Please review and comply with the following rules, which are actively enforced by security and condominium administration:
Swimming Pool Rules
• No pets allowed in or near the pool area
• No food or drinks permitted in or around the pool
• No bicycles, skateboards, or similar equipment around the pool area
• No smoking in the pool area or surrounding perimeter
• No adult floating devices (tubes), tables, or chairs inside or around the pool
• No playing with sports balls (volleyballs, footballs, basketballs, baseballs, tennis balls) in or near the pool or green areas — use designated courts
• No water guns, water balloons, or similar games near the pool or green areas
• No loud noises, loud music, or screaming in pool areas, gazebos, hallways, apartments, or surrounding spaces that disturb residents at any time
Green Areas & Common Areas Rules
• No placing chairs, tents, hammocks, tables, BBQ grills (gas or charcoal), or furniture in green areas
• No volleyball games near the pool or green areas — use designated volleyball area near the boardwalk
• No water guns, water balloons, or hand games in green areas
• No loud or disruptive behavior that inconveniences residents at any time
Sports Courts
The condominium offers tennis and basketball courts. Availability may vary due to maintenance, scheduling, or administrative decisions. Court access is not guaranteed and does not qualify for refunds or discounts.
Property Care & Guest Responsibility
Each apartment is individually owned and equipped with essentials such as towels, cookware, and utensils. All provided items must remain inside the apartment.
Guests are responsible for maintaining the apartment in good condition.
Permanent stains (including makeup), damaged items, or excessive mess beyond normal wear and tear will be charged at replacement or repair cost.

Its all about the view and this one cant be beat. 50 ft of soft grass to the beach!! Condo was equipped with what we needed. Dryer didn't work but drying rack and air conditioner was a fine alternative. Loved the location and staff was friendly. Other than the dryer... the unit could use a few updates. Some doors were damaged probably from the hurricane etc but didn't effect our stay. Beds were clean and comfy Arnoldo was very responsive. Would stay here again.
Really unique beach, huge waves that dissipate on the dead reef, this results in a calm section that is great for kids. Bring goggles and watch all the fish and sea life without needing to swim :) Kitchen could use a few more items e.g. no cutting board
My family loved the apartment. We could walk 50 steps and we were on the beach. It was wonderful to wake up with the sound of the waves. The property was also within 10 minutes of many terrific restaurants and beaches. Highly recommend!
We loved this place! It was perfect for our family. We woke up each morning and walked along the beach. Then later we'd walk down to Jobos Beach and stay all afternoon. The atmosphere is amazing. I highly recomend.
Isabela is a great town. There are many places to eat, wonderful beaches and you can visit other towns (West side of the island). The apartment was very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen appliances--and it was located in a good area. We did enjoy our stay. We will rent this apt again. Thank you for sharing your place.

The unit was spacious and the location was great, first floor with a nice lawn between us and the ocean, However, that lawn was over septic system, leach field presumably. The constant odor of waste was terribly off-putting. It was less noticeable on windy days, but on calm days we would avoid sitting outside. And we certainly avoided walking on the perpetually wet/soggy sections, knowing that the dampness was surely not the morning dew!If they correct the sanitation problem, this would be a great spot.

We had a really great stay at this property. It was clean and conveniently located. Jobos Beach is about a minute drive away, or you can walk along the beach there in about 15 minutes. We did have a problem with the WiFi not connecting at first but Arnaldo was very quick to get it fixed so it was not a big deal (internet can be a little spotty in Puerto Rico to begin with). The food truck spot right on the main road was really convenient to grab a quick bite if needed. Arnaldo was a great host and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful and pristine location with incredible ocean views ! The pics are incredibly accurate, what you see, is what you get! It is fairly isolated so you will need a car to go on any excursions. The building itself is in need of repairs and upgrades as cracks and structure damage is obvious.

We love the property and the area. We come once a year. The apartment had hot water in 1 of the 2 showers. The apartment needed basic up keep. The shower drains, towel racks, etc were broken or non functioning. We love the property however this unit was needs some tlc. We will come back and stay here again. Hope this focuses the owners on this unit.

Bug infested and dirty
It seems like the unit was unkept. It was dirty, the sheets were stained, old mattress with a hole, floors dirty and bug infested. Had to request housekeeping and exterminator who was not available so housekeeper sprayed the unit instead.

May is rainy season in Puerto Rico. Beachfront units in the north beaches of the Island receive heavy winds with salt. Occasionally the skies will look foggy, but it’s not fog, it’s salt in the air. Because of this natural phenomenon, the floors get salty within a few hours of being moped. Also the window glass and the mirrors will get salty and foggy as well.
Same thing happens with bugs. We spray for bugs monthly, however after a rainy day bugs come out at night and may enter the unit, specially is doors are kept open and lights inside are on. There is a disclosure about bugs in the listing’s description.
This guest rented 2 units from us. One beachfront on the first floor and another unit in the back on the second floor. Both units got housekept the same day and there’s a noticeable difference on the floors and windows due to the location of each unit. The one closer the water and on the first floor will get all salty quickly.
After the second day of the stay guests contacted us regarding housekeeping issues and bugs. In spite there’s a disclaimer about bugs in the listing’s description we sent the housekeeper to clean the entire apartment again and spray for bugs. We also sent new mattress pads and bedsheets for all beds because guests claimed they where not clean. They only accepted the full size bed sheets because it was the only one that really had a small stain in it. It was clean but the stain didn’t came off.
We took all necessary actions to please the guests, but unfortunately there was nothing we could to to make them happy.
We inspect all units prior and after each stay. It’s fair to mention that these guests left the apartments in horrible condition. We needed to performed extended housekeeping to get it back to conditions. They even burned one of the master bedroom’s bedsheets with the iron, to which they didn’t want to take responsibility. We charged the replacement cost from their security deposit.
This place was absolutely amazing. I kind of don’t wanna rate it well so that it’s always available for us when we travel, lol. No one can beat the beach access and the food scene of this area. This place was absolutely amazing. I kind of don’t wanna rate it well so that it’s always available for us when we travel, lol. No one can beat the beach access, access. Although the beach is not swimmable, you can walk or drive to a nearby beach within minutes. The host for this property gives very clear instructions and communicate well via the app. We will absolutely be staying here again.
