Well located but very basic. Terrible property management.

Stayed here for two nights to visit our daughter and attend an OSU football game.On the upside, the property itself was clean and simple, well-located in the German Village, walkable to Schmidt’s German restaurant. Parking was easy, both behind the unit and on the street in front. On the downside, the unit was not very comfortable. We had an interior unit with almost no natural lighting. Insulation was really poor - each time we opened the bedroom closet we were greeted by an arctic gust. The family room has one small, very uncomfortable sofa.Overall this place is perfectly fine for a quick one or two night stay on a budget but there are much better properties available for the price. One additional note, we had an incredibly challenging time confirming our reservation. The property management company (Housepitality) requires ID from all people staying at the property, a photo of the credit card including security code and a picture of you holding the card…sent via insecure channels. It took me 4 hours of back and forth to work out a viable solution. They cited Franklin county laws but I’ve never had any such experience renting in the area through my daughter’s time at school. Their policies are completely irresponsible, seeking to mitigate their financial risk at the expense of their renters’ privacy and data security. Will not rent any property through them in the future.
