About this property

Sophisticated, Ski-In/Ski-out Villa with Sweeping Views and Private Hot Tub

Centrally located in the Moonlight Basin area of Big Sky, the Montana Mountain View Luxury Suite is unmatched in its spectacular panoramic views of the Gallatin Range, Andesite ski runs, and Spanish Peaks. With four-bedrooms—each with their own en-suite bathroom—a private hot tub, and an outdoor patio for dining and grilling, this luxury suite with elegant upgraded furnishings, offers year-round fun and relaxation. In the winter, ski directly from the house to the Six-Shooter Lift. In the summer, hike the Moonlight Basin and Big Sky trails right from your doorstep.

Delight in panoramic Big Sky and Gallatin mountain views from several vantage points in this peaceful and private suite. Situated on an overlook, each of the bedrooms and their en-suite baths, as well as the living room, well-equipped chef’s kitchen, dining room and half-bath boast unobstructed valley and mountain vistas. Three of the bedrooms are located downstairs, with private exits allowing each of them direct access to the hot tub. The two primary bedrooms—one upstairs and one downstairs—both provide king beds, double sinks and gas fireplaces for premium privacy and relaxation. The main-level bedroom also features fabulous views and comfortable seating on a private deck. The third bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, and the fourth has two sets of twin-sized bunk beds.

For your entertainment, when not enjoying the beautiful slopes, hiking, wildlife sightings or mountain biking, the living room boasts a smart TV, video games, several card and boards games, and a Bluetooth sound system for playing your favorite music throughout the suite. There is also a wood burning fireplace, ideal for cozy evening gatherings. At night, enjoy the view of ski groomers, headlamp skiing, the occasional fireworks in the winter, and stunning Alpenglow all year round. A large deck off the living room provides additional access to the hot tub, as well as outdoor dining and a gas grill. There is also a laundry room for your convenience, and the sports garage is available to borrow snow shoes and sleds, and to store your skis beside the slope.

Due to high visitation and staffing constraints, local area offerings such as restaurants, bars, shopping, and shared amenities may have limited hours or availability. Cell phone and internet service may also be impacted during high visitation periods. Local municipalities and homeowners are investing in improvements that provide the best quality of life for local residents and visitors alike. Any construction, traffic delays, or unanticipated noise is for the betterment of the community including increasing local amenities, ski areas and supporting the local economy. Please contact us directly to discuss the impact during your stay dates.

For ski-in/ski-out access, step out of the ski room directly onto the groomed run, Alpine Meadows (Green). Follow this run as it becomes Hideaway, which eventually merges into Natawista Run, and then Cinnabar. Stop at Madison Village Base Area for ski and snowboard lessons or continue to the base of the Derringer for beginner terrain and Six Shooter Lifts for access to the entire mountain. To get home from Iron Horse Lift or Six Shooter Lift, take Lazy Jack to Cinnabar Run, and continue to the left. Follow Cinnabar Run until Natawista Run, and then veer right onto Bootlegger Run, where you’ll cross a ski bridge. Turn left onto Alpine Meadows and follow this across another long ski bridge, where Montana Mountain View Luxury Suite will be visible—it’s the second unit in the second building on the left.

*Early and late season ski-in/ski-out access is condition dependent and may vary throughout your stay

Pluses and minuses
Great accommodations. Skiing out for the first time and every time was easy figuring out how to ski back in wasn’t hard but it wasn’t easy. The second time it was a breeze. I agree with one of the reviews that a few of the beds were pretty stiff to sleep on. Jacuzzi was great The drive to restaurants seemed long, so we brought our own groceries and had a great time staying together and spending more quality time together. An extended check out from 10 to 12 was accommodated. Very much appreciated.

Mother/Son Ski Week
This was a great week with mothers and their sons. The house functioned nicely. Moms had their own rooms and the boys were in the bunks. Kitchen is tight with that many people and their is only one living area/hang out space. Difficult ski in/ski out for boarders.

Good location. Smaller than it appears. Hard to ski in/out.
Short on supplies (toilet paper, tissue). Ran out of propane with no back up after one use. No can opener or cheese grater. Beds are very hard. Hot tub placed under the deck with no view. Access to hot tub was through bedrooms. Hard to actually ski in or out like other places in Moonlight we have stayed. Our contact was great. Matt. Very responsive. Right kitchen, dining and living space. Smokey fire.

Wonderful Property!
Beautiful lodging, beautiful views. We loved our stay at this home, and the easy ski-in, ski-out access allowed us to take advantage of every minute on the mountain. We will be back!
