Stay comfortably in Miller City/Olive Branch at this 2-bedroom cabin. Inside, guests will find 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, and a cozy living room with a futon. Enjoy the heating and AC, as well as the bathroom with a shower. This delightful retreat is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway or hunting trip with the guys. We look forward to hosting you at our place. Our cabin is just a walk from public hunting access with public boat ramp for waterfowl hunting, 1 mile drive from horseshoe lake for canoeing and fishing and a 10 mile drive from Shawnee National Forest. Walking distance access to public ground for and turkey and deer hunting also

We had a great stay at this cabin. This was a dreamy cabin, cozy, and quiet within beautiful nature. The town was small and cute to enjoy local stuff. The hosts were very nice and friendly and give us really good suggestions to enjoy our stay. Very clean, nicely designed, and accessible. Staying in this cabin is a must if you are in the neighborhood.

Cute, clean, dog friendly property. Perfect space for our little family of four and our dog. We were there in the heat of summer and there were so many mosquitoes it was hard to enjoy the outdoor space. Would suggest bringing a sleep mask if you like darkness as there were no window coverings and a big dusk/dawn light outside the cabin.

This cabin is great for a weekend getaway. It's very secluded but it worth the price. We got to enjoy the sounds of nature and see things we don't hear or see just an hour north of the area. The host was great and very accominated with things. We will be back if we have to stay down in the area again.

The cabin was very quaint and clean. The AC was cold. The water had an awful smell. (Well water) The address was not exact and put us at a shack in the middle of woods. There was no phone service so we couldn’t call for directions. We drove around until we found it. mosquitos were pretty bad when we went(. July)There were no window coverings so there was direct view of our bed from road which felt odd.

I’m sorry you had problems with the directions to the Cabin. There are occasions that a few guest have difficulties finding the place being a new build and 911 address maps have to be updated on gps. Again we are sorry about that. I have a mosquito company spray once a month but some of the guest have stated that they have been particularly bad this month (July) I am assuming this is because of the heavy rain fall we have received in the last month. We do our best to try and keep them away. I have arranged for coverings for the windows. We don’t stay at the Cabin and it’s so secluded that we have never thought of the open few to be a problem. Thanks for your review.

I booked this cabin for a getaway for two adults and two dogs who don't like other dogs, and it was the perfect location for that. There are no other cabins within sight or within earshot, the road that runs by the cabin is quiet, and there's a park that's similarly very quiet about a 5-minute drive away. Check in was smooth and the cabin is very cute. The facilities, especially the shower, are pretty basic, but everything worked. The cabin is small, but comfortable for two people. There's AC and heating, so the temperature was comfortable.My notes are less a critique of the cabin, and more things to know: The water smells like rotten eggs, to the point where the entire bathroom stank after a shower. My dogs happily drank the tap water, so it seems safe - the area is marshy, so I suspect that explains the smell. If you're sensitive to smells, this might be a challenge. This is woods in the southern Midwest, so mosquitoes were out in force, and my dogs were covered in sticky pricklies the second they left the (nicely!) mowed area of the cabin - again, nothing to do with the cabin, just the reality of the area, and it meant we didn't spend a ton of time outside near the cabin. I might be interested in revisiting during a colder time of year when bugs and plants are dormant. I recommend bringing your own dry firewood because it's humid so any wood at the site might not burn very easily.

Cabin was nice. We found out there was a boil water notice in the area towards the end of our stay. We hadn't drank tap water but our dog did get sick on the way home., otherwise it was nice.

Getaway

This is a nice to little spot for anyone or a couple looking to just getaway for a night or a weekend. It’s nestled in the middle of the woods with no one around you for what seems like miles. Very quiet place and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
