The property was easy to locate, very spacious, inviting, and had everything I needed for my short stay. I would definitely recommend this location for any solo travelers or couples. It's very quiet and low key.
Door keypad was dead. Owners were not around to fix. Daughter of owners was there, but was rude and seemed to be put out by my arrival. It took over an hour to get someone to fix it. Party/event started right about check in time. 20-30 strangers gathered on front lawn of VRBO. Very awkward, since I had to walk through the party to get to the only entrance. Advertised as having kitchen. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, electric kettle is what you get. No dishes at all. There was lids for paper cups, but no cups. I tried looking in the closet for dishes, but found only cleaning supplies. Water source is bathroom sink, which was clogged, the toilet or the shower. Advertised as having heating/air conditioning. This obviously means open the 1 window that opens and watch the flames on the electric fireplace and pray for warmth because zero heat comes. I pushed all the buttons, unplugged and plugged it back in and nothing. Now, here is the extremely creepy part. When I was looking for dishes, there were 2 closet looking doors. One of them was locked and shut tight. I had left for the day and when I came back, the locked door was standing open. I could see it was the inside of the owners home and shut the door. That door locks from their side and that tells me someone was in my rental. I still had 1 more night there. I was NEVER asked if the owners could enter my rented personal space, other than in an emergency. Most uncomfortable feeling as a single lady staying here!!!

Lori,
Thank you for staying with us, I'd like to address each of your complaints (of which I knew nothing about during your stay with us.)
The door keypad was not dead. When I went to check the lock it worked just fine with the code I sent you. My guess is you had tried it several times and it timed out as my daughter said the red light started flashing when she was helping you with it. She was not rude. She does not live here and was not expecting to have you at the front door needing assistance and she has nothign to do with our airbnbs. Most of our airbnb guests just text when they need something, most do not go to the front door of the home. You messaged me at 4 pm, and when I saw it, I was already on the phone with her trying to help you after she called me. At 7 pm we had our kids and grandchildren over for our daughter's gender reveal, they left after an hour due to our grand daughter's soccer game. They were not here long. The listing does state this airbnb is in our private home.
The property description (and photos) state there is a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and dining table.
There is heating and air, the temp was set at 62 degrees. If I'd know you were uncomfortable I would've helped you with it.
Our cleaner did confuse her days and came to clean a day early. When she opened the door and saw your things still there she immediately left and called to tell me. I did not realize she hadn't relocked or closed the door tightly. I apologize for that.
