Mathew was great communicating with me from checking in and checking out. The house had quite a bit of blemishes throughout and power went out (breaker) in one room and living room and we had no access to reset. House was clean except tiny pieces of mud chunks on the wood floors. But overall, our stay was phenomenal! BTW, the area was super quiet from morning to night; I felt bad as we were on motorcycles, Harley’s to be exact. I’m sure our obnoxious bikes inconvenienced a few neighbors. I would definitely return again with buddies or family (s).

This was a great place for our family gathering of 13 people spanning three generations ranging from 75 to 14 months. Plenty of space to spread out, a nice backyard play area, conveniently located. The host was extremely responsive. The toaster went up and we had a replacement in less than two hours!

For needing to sleep 12, this place works. Besides that, it looked industrially generic, barely lived in, and is surprisingly in need of some repairs anyway. The flooring between the living room to kitchen and next to the heating grate in the hall was caved in and the kitchen flooring seemed to be layered over a previous floor, which created a tripping hazard when entering. The upstairs bathroom sink drain kept popping out, the shower wouldn't drain, and the towel rack was broken in two spots and barely staying in the wall. We found broken glassware in the kitchen and there wasn't even a kettle for tea, much to the dismay of several of our guests. All in all, nothing we couldn't live with, but it seemed far too much wrong for the 584 per night we had to pay! The required 324 damage waiver and cleaning fees better go back into actually fixing these problems for the next guests! Additionally, the outside trash bin was 120% full when we arrived, so we had to encroach upon a neighbor's bin for disposing of our single grocery bag of trash. The hosts were helpful when contacted, but only once I reached out for information that I'd expected to be sent automatically.

A great house for a large group. We live in NC and had to travel to Cincinnati for our father’s funeral. The house was perfect for our needs. The rooms large and spacious and the host was so quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks again, Matt! My only recommendation is to pay close attention as you walk into the main hall and two of the rooms on the first floor for the raised transitions in the floor. It is very easy to trip on these. We did so a few times. Other than that it was exactly as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you so much.

Wonderful property

The home has been updated with new appliances and decor and was a great space for us. It was clean and well-stocked with all the basic items you would need for an extended stay. The owner was quick to respond to questions and sent important information in a timely manner. I highly recommend this property.

The space at this property was good. It fit the needs of our larger group. The problem with this place is the listing photos were from multiple years ago and the property does not look like this now. There were multiple broken items including furniture, towel bars, soap dispensers, etc. Some of the rugs, towels, and blankets were stained. The bedding appeared to be clean and the unit had been professionally cleaned. It wasn't horrible but a lot of things were in disrepair. The biggest issue was the condition of the walls. This house has clearly had no paint or drywall work in many years. Every wall, door and trim had significant damage and more then just wear and tear. The pictures look pristine - the actual condition is far from that. The over all disrepair of the walls gave the property a lack of cleanliness overall. I trust that VRBO will have accurate pictures and this was not the case. The management company had good canned responses to the problems I reported and ultimately gave us a 10% refund but I found that to be very little for the condition of the home. I don't know how people from the last 6 months have given this property a 10/10. The 6/10 review from a year ago is accurate and shows these issues have not been address for a long time. I thought that review was a one off - nope the 10/10 reviews were the one offs. We stay at many VRBO listings and prefer it-this is the first issue we have had. I would not stay here until they have fixed the issues.

So many great things about this place! And some not great things.

Some positives: the management offered excellent communication and service. I had a few questions during our stay and they were super quick to respond. I had a few problems I wasn't sure how to solve and they promptly addressed it. The property was an excellent size for our group of 8. We were very thankful for all the room we had to relax.Some negatives: the listing ad was misleading on the location (it is not walking distance to much), as well as the quality of the house. There is a lot of upkeep and repair needed. Walls and the floor had a lot of damage, furniture was broken, lights were missing, a shower drain was clogged, towels were stained, etc. The pictures on the listing must have been taken a while ago because they do not have some of the damage in them. The house is cute and styled well, but it just shows better on the listing than it does in person. Lastly, I just wanted to add that the floor has a lot of uneven levels to it and I was worried my mom would trip on them.

Top notch property, location, and management

The location is very convenient to the Interstate and just minutes from stores, restaurants, entertainment, churches, etc. A convenience store is even within walking distance. The established neighborhood is of mixed use, with some office and industrial buildings nearby, which makes for quiet evenings and weekends. The yard is very small but there is a sizable deck for the warmer months. The house was clearly renovated recently, and the description on VRBO is perfectly accurate, no surprises. The functional floor plan includes six very comfortable bedrooms; 2.5 updated bathrooms; a spacious, well-stocked kitchen; large dining table; cozy gathering area; plus a game room and washer/dryer on the main floor. Perfect for a large group — ours ranged in age from 7 weeks to 58 years. One afternoon, near the end of our 6-night stay, the heat stopped working. So, I texted the phone number that was provided in the welcome materials. Less than five minutes later, I received a phone call from Ian, who said he would be at the house in 30 min to diagnose (and hopefully fix) the problem. He assured us that, if he couldn’t get it resolved then, the HVAC specialist would get it resolved that day. By the time Ian arrived (within 30 min), the issue had resolved itself. So, he left us with a space heater and told us to not hesitate to call back. Every other response from management was similarly prompt, professional, and courteous. Great property, great spot, great people.
