About this property

270 Oia's View House II, Private Swimming Pool, outdoor Hot Tub, Sunset View

Named after the 270o degrees of panoramic view it offers, 270 Oia's View House II is a natural window towards the cliffs of Oia or the caldera of Thirasia, the Aegean islands and the mesmerizing Sunset. Dominated by the element of the water reflecting the mediterranean sun, it combines the values of space and privacy: the heart and soul of a travelling experience.

The 3 level villa can accommodate up to 8 persons and it features a private swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden. The living room and the fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor are comfortable and sunny spaces with immediate access to the outdoor space. It has 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms and a small sitting room at a lower level and a fourth bedroom at an upper level with privacy. An extra bathroom can be found on the ground floor.

House II is part of the 270 Oia’s View complex, located just 700m from the main pedestrian street of Oia and with a number of quality restaurants nearby. The guest can enjoy privacy away from the crowds but also visit the village within a few minutes. The famous hiking trail that connects Oia with Fira is also adjacent to the property providing the unique experience of walking along the edge of the caldera cliff while enjoying the amazing views.
Although Oia is a protected village where vehicles are not allowed to cross, our location offers the rare advantage of car accessibility and free parking space for our guests. In addition, the nearest bus stop is in 50m in case someone wishes to use public transportation.
E. Vasilakis, architect and owner, designed and constructed the project during the period of 2008-2011 with extreme respect to the natural landscape and the well known Santorinian traditional bioclimatic architecture. High quality materials combined with the traditional methods of Santorini’s technicians gave an outcome of excellent minimal aesthetic and fully functional interior spaces completely adapted to the unique scenery.
The volumetric and morphological approach to the traditional local residential architecture along with the use of natural materials and bright colours blend effortlessly with the unique scenery of Santorini. It surely gives you something you shouldn't miss: the experience of living surrounded by land, sky and sea.

Our stay at 270 Oia’s View House II was absolutely wonderful! Nayia and Dani were so accessible and helpful from the start of booking and continued throughout the trip. They helped with booking the most amazing tours, that helped to create the most wonderful experiences and memories! The house was beautiful, clean and in the perfect location! Perfection in Oia
The pictures do not do this place justice! We were coming from the US and did not know the Oia area. Perfectly situated above the town, you are just close enough to enjoy all of the town’s amenities and just far enough away to have fantastic privacy. Be ready for the hills and to do some walking to enjoy them, but the beautiful views are well worth it! The sunsets and caldera views are gorgeous. A well-appointed home away from home. Delicious meals just across the way at Finikia. Our hosts Dani and Nayia were fantastic. Hope to be back someday!

Serenity in Santorini
The property was as beautiful as depicted. Fantastic concierge and front desk service from pre-trip planning to departure. Entire staff was professional and accommodating. Enjoyed the beautiful pool and gorgeous sunset views and easy access to the famous hiking trail from Oia to Fira. Our party of eight adults were quite pleased with the accommodations and location just outside of Oia and all the crowds. There are some great local restaurants a short walk away in Finikia. Highly recommend this property and would definitely go back.

Amazing condo, great location!
Very comfortable condo, super clean, and very well maintained pool and grounds. Support from Nayia and Dani was exceptional, from advice on travel to restaurant reservations. Convenient condo location out of high traffic area and across the street from what we discovered as the best restaurant in town with great food and views. Definitely a top choice for a return visit.

Highly Recommend 270 Oia’s View
The staff are courteous, very helpful and kind. They helped us navigate many opportunities to do different fun tours on the island. The property is an excellent location and the villas were amazing. We spent half our time touring and the other half at our pool. An overall excellent experience that we would recommend to anyone!

Good for families
We stayed for 3 nights with our 3 children (11,17 and 20) plus each set grandparents. I wouldn’t recommend this for young kids or anyone where climbing stairs, hills or 15-25 min walks would be uncomfortable but it has everything you need in a clean, comfortable Greek inspired domain. We stayed in house 2. The main floor with the kitchen is appx 15’ wide, the kitchen is small and narrow but very functional. We didn’t use much because eating out enhanced the experience. There is a loft area above and the other rooms are below (down fairly steep concrete stairs). Bathrooms are wet areas w toilet and shower in the same space. The pool and area around is small but relaxing- good views of the sunset. Sunset: I Found that while Imwatching the sun set was nice, it’s the 40-45 after sunset that are the most beautiful- the reds, pink and purple illuminations are lovely. I would book a caldera view restaurant for one night that covers sunset on. Greek schedules seem to be lunch 1-2ish and dinner 8-9 /after sunset. There is a good restaurant - finikia- across the street that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a good place for your first stop to get your bearings. There is a simple grocery a 5-10 walk towards santorini on the right for fruit and snacks. If you are content with a 15-20 walk to santorini (it’s a busy street but plenty of people are walking on it) then you can walk to and from dinner. The grandparents had to take a cab. Highly recommend Fino’s (no view but you won’t care). This was a first trip to santorini. During the day, the crowds from the cruise ships drain the allure of santorini. I was told they tend to be heavier earlier in the week and we were there wed-sat- can’t imagine it worse. Shops are predominantly touristy junk which was disappointing. I think if it was just my immediate family, santorini would have been more enjoyable in town, in the caldera and off the streets during the day. Nighttime in santorini is magical- that is when to enjoy it. It can still be busy but the lights and the view are quite exceptional. Definitely get off the main path and explore the side streets. House II
Our Greek Adventure put us on the island of Santorini for 7 days. Our two family group (9 people) enjoyed House II and it met all of our needs. Sitting above Oia, we were provided with full sunset views and a perfect perch to look out at the town of Oia as well as down on the countryside vineyards. The two master bedrooms were very private and comfortable. Our older children took the loft, the 3rd bedroom and the sleeping area on the lower level. Although the kitchen was fully available and well equipped, we dined out to enjoy the local cuisine more than not. However, we did enjoy our breakfast as well as our "wine and cheese" time on the patio each day. Having many stairs and the driveway to the villas being very steep, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with disabilities, but it was totally do-able for our group. Above all...the staff was extremely helpful, energetic, polite and efficient. Eleni (our host) was extremely informative and ready to make reservations or help with transfers at a moment's notice. Either her or her staff was always available and on hand. They even carried our luggage up to the villa to avoid the steep drive! Eleni came to our villa to answer any questions, gave us a map of the area with suggestions of places to visit, and was on hand to wish us well as we departed. We walked to Oia several times, rented ATV and a car for the longer ride into Fira, although Eleni was available to order up a transfer ride and there was a public bus in front of our drive. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet and very scenic area, this is the spot. You are a short drive to more lively areas and beaches, but wind down here at the end of your day. The winery is 3 minutes away, and good restaurants are just across the street. Great times in 270 View!!!

Lowest Level of 4 Villas in Oia
We stayed in the lowest villa of the four that are located on the cliff side overlooking the Caldera. There is a 5th villa under construction just below this one. The view from any of the villas is equally spectacular There were 2 couples staying in the villa and we felt like we had plenty of room. There were 2 seperate bedrooms with a common area between them that could be set up as an extra bedroom to sleep 2 more people. This part of the villa was a cave and carved right out of the mountain side. There were bathrooms with showers in both rooms. The master bedroom is beautiful and the interior is all done up in white and dark grey with minimalist decoration throughout. The villa has a very good feel to it. The upstairs has a sitting area that could double as a bed for a 7th. person. There is a kitchen table, a 3rd bathroom with shower and a fully appointed kitchen area. Television and WiFi were included. The star of the show is the private pool and deck area with covered patio, a nice sized table, chairs, lounge chairs and even a telescope. We spent a lot of time in the pool and really felt like we couldn't have done better anywhere else. The view is spectacular all the way to Oia and if you don't mind a 10 minute hike to the top of the cliff you can see the entire Caldera and Fira in the distance. The views are magnificant. If you are into photography you may come away with pictures you will treasure for the rest of your life! Probably the best thing about staying here was the 3 minute drive to Oia. There is a fantastic bakery just down the road and Ya Ya will make sure you gain weight on her delicious pastries if you are not careful! Rent a car and you will be able to take in the entire island, avoid climbing steps to get to a hotel room in Oia or Fira and be 10 minutes from at least 30 restaurants and the best sunsets you will ever see. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay here was memorable and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity. The place was immaculate with dessert delivered to us, just because, on our second day and it was home made and delicious. We shared a bottle of wine on the first night and our host provided us with a ton of valuable infomation on sightseeing, restaurants and excursions. We rented a catamaran from Spiradokis Yacht Charters and spent a fantastic day sailing the caldera. Your host has information on how to book this cruise. It was the highlight of our trip.

Incredible Sunset Views Overlooking Oia
We just returned from a one week stay in 270 View House. It is one of four brand new, individual houses in a cluster overlooking Oia. Manos, the owner and architect, has done an amazing job in designing and building this property. The interior and exterior spaces are both beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. The homes are traditionally styled, with plenty of local character, but have all the modern conveniences, including great Wi-Fi. The views are spectacular, overlooking Oia and its marvelous sunsets--A perfect location for sunsetters every evening. (Conveniently, the Sigalis winery is a ten minute drive down the hill, in case you run out of "supplies".) While convenient to Oia (a two minute drive or ten minute walk), you're sufficiently isolated from the waves of cruise boaters that inundate Oia every day during the summer and early fall. The house is well situated as a base for exploring the island or for simply relaxing by the large private pool. The hiking road/trail between Fira and Oia runs within a few steps of the property. Despite this proximity, the houses are still quite private. Manos and Maria, the property manager, were very kind and accomodating. They seemed intent on making our stay memorable. After asking Manos about a bit more shade by the pool, a large patio umbrella magically appeared the following day. Maria provided a generous breakfast each morning, including home-made bread and pastries--more food than two people could possibly eat. Finally, compared with rental properties near-by, the house's current pricing is quite reasonable. All-in-all, we'd rent this place again in a heatbeat.

Fabulous and unique stay in Santorini
I stayed at 270 view with my family 2 weeks ago and the place was outstanding. The views are spectacular, the villa is beautifully and meticulously decorated and quite private, the location is great, the decor both inside and outside are very tastefully done and the owner obviously takes great pride in making the experience truly one of kind. We were 7 people and the home accommodated us easily. The owner was also very friendly and gave us invaluable information about restaurants, places to see, etc... I am hoping to return one day - this was one of our best holidays ever.
