Loved our stay at Dogwood Bay! Stayed with a work group of friends to plan a summer camp for a nonprofit and the house was perfect. Had everything we needed, especially for cooking. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, and we even got to relax on the lake. Yard was beautiful!! Would definitely stay here again.

So glad you had a great time! We hope you come back in the future.
We had such a wonderful weekend. The house was clean and well supplied with everything from linens to kitchen gadgets and even paddleboards. The house is located in a wonderful spot on Lake Norman. We enjoyed the sunny lawn, watching boats on Memorial Day, and paddleboarding. The boaters were so respectful, no noisy parties. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood and had a special treat on our final morning: a baby fawn was born right outside the back porch. A perfect ending to a perfect weekend. We loved our stay so much we want to come back and bring our spouses.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience! We hope you book with us again in the future.
On arrival, house was so totally dark, no motion lights, no outdoor lights, no number on mailbox or house that was visible. It was an extremely difficult driveway to manage with no lights. When we finally got down the driveway we used cell phone flashlights to find the door. The house was clean but exceptionally overdecorated with stuff. There was no toaster so we bought one, no can opener, so we bought one. Rooms very spacious but lighting was extremely low throughout. The best things about the property was the dock and the tvs. Beds were acceptable. Windows needed a good washing. Bathroom door upstairs was hard to get open once you were inside. Upstairs tub drain not working. We had to hold the plunger up for water to drain after bath/shower. Many of these things seem small but once you put them all together, it was pretty annoying and not a place we would return to. Our family does not expect perfection but this was a bit much. The house has potential but needs some serious TLC at this point.
